"W-what are you doing here?"
I was shocked to see Charm visited me at the Barn house. I thought they're all coming to watch the Pentacost's big concert today.
Her worried eyes bore on mine, "Sasamahan kita. Sorry ako lang.. May pinuntahan sina Ericka eh.."
I suddenly felt happy. Finally, may kasama na rin ako. Halos hatid sundo ako ng mga kaibigan sa buong linggo. Sometimes, Chandler would fetch and sent me to school too, when he has some free time.
"C-come in.." I let her inside the living area.
We both sat down at the couch. "Sinabi ni Chandler na wala kang kasama rito."
I nodded. Naisip ko rin iyon kaya siguro siya nandito.
"I also wanted to be with you for today. Alam ko na malungkot ka dahil hindi ka makakapunta sa concert.."
I sighed. "Sorry, pati tuloy ikaw hindi nakasama—"
"Okay lang 'yon ano ka ba.. Ngayon lang naman siguro 'to. Isa pa, mas kailangan mo ako.." She smiled.
We stayed there for awhile, talking about some stuff. We also watch some videos through the internet, but we quickly stopped when I saw a news about me.
"U-uh.. L-let's eat first.." I said to ease the awkwardness.
"M-mabuti pa nga.." She chuckled and put her phone inside the pocket of her jeans.
While eating our lunch silently, I can't help but to wonder what's happening right now at the concert. They're probably preparing right now.
"C-charm.." I called her attention.
Her eyes met mine. "Hmm?"
"C-can we go to the venue?" I carefully asked.
She froze and stopped from eating. "H-huh? Nababaliw ka na ba?! Hindi pwede!" She immediately said, after a long silence.
I sighed. "Sa labas lang.."
She shook her head. "No.. Baka mapahamak ka.."
"Please? Mabilis lang, doon lang sa labas talaga. Iba naman ang sasakyan natin ngayon."
My old car was vandalized by some of the fans, that's why I can't use it for now. Chandler's car was not allowed to use too, dahil masyadong kilala iyon ng mga tao. Ang tanging sasakyan na nandito ay ang kakabili pa lamang ni Chandler, para magamit sa pag hahatid at sundo sa akin.
Charm sighed in defeat. "Fine! Pero uuwi tayo kaagad ah?"
My face lightened up after hearing it from her. That's why after eating, I quickly changed my clothes and fixed myself before we left the barn house.
