Chandler get off from the hug. His lips was gaped open as he stared at my face solemnly.
I knew what I've said. In fact, I already thought about it before he even started to court me. This is what I wanted. I like him, he likes me too. That's the most important thing right?
"W-what?" He incredulously gasp.
My mouth twitched, "Let's make this official. You're my boyfriend now.."
This time, his lips curved into a wide smile. His gaze went done on his parents' gravestones, "Mom, dad! I already have a girlfriend! I'm not single anymore!"
Humalakhak ako, "Nakakahiya ka.."
Chandler glared at me, "Stop ruining the moment. You know Ejzh, you're my first girlfriend, that's why I'm happy!"
My eyes widened. "Really?!"
Ang isipin na boyfriend ko na siya ngayon ay nagpapabilis na ng tibok ng puso ko, pero ang malaman na ako pa lamang ang tanging nagiging girlfriend niya? Hindi ko alam, masyadong masaya iyon sa pandinig ko.
Chandler nodded. "You think I still have my time to get along with some girls? Knowing my experiences, responsibilities and obligations after my parents died?" He shook his head slowly.
I smiled wearily as I reached for his hand. "I'm here now Chandler.."
He pursed his lips, "I know.."
We stayed like that for awhile, talking about our plans in the future, and some things about our past that we both didn't know, before we decided to go to their house afterwards.
"Malapit lang sa inyo rito?" I asked after sliding myself inside his car.
"Yup.." Chandler started the engine.
Totoo nga iyon, dahil ilang sandali lang ay nakarating na agad kami sa Village nila. I was actually amazed when I saw their house—no, their Mansion. It was a huge modern house. Siguro'y isa iyon sa mga naiwang pag aari ng mga parents nila, kaya ngayon ay may mga ari arian pa rin sila at isa na 'tong mansiyon.
"Iyong kapatid mo lang ang nandito?" He guided me inside the gate.
Chandler nod, "She wants to stay here than to move in my condo unit."
The moment we entered at their living area's double doors, a girl in my age appeared in front of us. She really looks like Chandler's girl version! Her features resembles both of them.
"Hey Chandler! Hi Ejzhaori, I'm Charisse," she smiled sweetly as she extended her hand.
I plastered a genuine smile on my lips, as we shaked each others hand, "You know me?" I chuckled. "It's nice to meet you, anyway.."
Charisse glanced at Chandler beside me, "Madaldal siya, kini-kwento ka niya sa 'kin."
Chandler groaned, "Call her ate. Hindi mo na nga ako tinatawag na kuya!"
