So you all know that I'm kinda obsessed with Darren Criss. He has a wonderful sense of humor and doesn't care about what people think and honestly just seems chill af?? Y'know??

But like, some people really don't like him and I'm just wondering why. I mean this in a genuinely curious way— I don't feel comfortable having an opinion on someone until I know all sides of the story.

And like, I searched online "why do people dislike Darren Criss" and the only thing that came up was when he announced he would stop playing LGBTQ+ characters. And I honestly understand why people would get upset, but didn't he do that because he didn't want to steal roles from people that are actually part of the community? Like, he's a cis male comfortable enough with his own sexuality to play gay characters, which is awesome, but don't you think it would be a bit awkward being a role model to young homosexuals only for them to find out you're straight?

So like, yeah. I would just appreciate if someone told me what's up or at least give me a link to find something out for myself. Thanks again aaa
