The door opens, letting Anthony enter his house with a sigh, shutting the door to lean against it. He was tired after that meeting about the bank vault, but luckily the notes were for his father to take care of, not him.

He was more of a hit man and torturer anyway.

Anthony removes his jacket and hat and hangs them up before moving towards the kitchen.

"Hey Ma, how was the doc?" he asked.

"It went well, still healthy as a horse, anyway dinner will be ready in half an hour." said his mother; Ariana.

She was a tall, slim woman with long white hair and bright amber eyes. She was dressed in a white dress with blue lillies on them, her favorite dress. While Andrea got their father's looks, Anthony and Marie were lucky to get theirs from Ariana.

"Need any help?" he asked.

"Not tonight, your father is in his study and you know how he gets when boys do 'women's work'." said Ariana with a roll of her eyes.

Anthony nods before heading upstairs. His father believes that cooking is a woman's duty, but Anthony loves to cook, especially when he learns it from his mother. He was as close to her as he was with Marie, but he was still to scared to tell her he was gay.

He walks to his sister's room to knock on the door. It opens to reveal his sister who then drags him into the room.

With the door shut and locked, her attention turns to him.

"Okay, now what happened last night that made you late?!" she demanded.

"Okay, okay, I did tell you I would tell you, remember?" asked Anthony.

"Oh I know, I was trying scare tactics, it's no fair that Dad keeps me out of the business." she said.

"Well, I'm not too upset over it, some of the things we do is really bad, but we'll still keep to the gun range." said Anthony.

Marie sighs and sits on her bed, looking at her brother who sighs.

"Okay, last night I found the bum and I shot him, but at the same time, a knife got his neck." said Anthony.

"A knife, guns don't shoot knives." laughed Marie.

"I know, it was from someone else, the Manhattan Shadow." said Anthony.

Marie gasps and scoots closer.

"And you lived, did you kill him?" she asked.

"No, he said he killed him but I fought him on it, then he invited me to coffee, we went, had a nice time, and we both revealed we wanted to kill the other, but didn't and laughed about it, um, we then promised not to tell anyone about this and I kissed his cheek and left." said Anthony.

Marie is silent before she bursts out laughing. She rolls a bit on her bed, making her brother eye her with a sneer.

"Only you, only you would kiss a Cannibal, but, who is he?" she asked.

"Promise not to tell anyone, I mean, not a word to anyone." said Anthony.

"I promise, in fact, I twin promise." said Marie, crossing her arms over her shoulders.

Anthony rolls his eyes but stands up with his sister. The two cross their wrists and hold onto the other's hands and turn, back to back with the arms now over their shoulders, still holding.

"I twin promise to keep your secret, even to my grave I shall remain silent. And if I should break this promise, may the gods sever our bond so we never speak again." they said in unison.
