Chapter 16

Jaida's POV

We been at the beach for about a hour and a half now just talking and laughing with each other. He wanted to get to know me more and I wanted to get to know him.

We even walked along the beach some as we talked. Ezra thought it was funny to pick me up and walked to the water like he was going to throw me in. I didn't care about being thrown in, I was just worried about it being cold and sharks.

It is an amazing date. Ezra teased me a little about how I didn't pick up on how this was date until he told me. I was really slow with that so I don't blame him for teasing me about it honestly.

"I have an surprise for you" He said sending me his perfect smile. I nodded as for him to continue. I loved slash hate surprises. It's a love hate relationship between me and surprises.

"Close your eyes" he mumbled to me making me frown but do as I was told. He then turned me around before stepping away from me.

He better not be fuxking proposing. We haven't even dated yet I thought as I frowned with a small sigh.

"MOMMY" I heard making my eyes shoot open. I saw Hayley running toward me. Tears sprung into my eyes as I got to my knees and opened my arms for her. She quickly ran into my arms hugging me as I hugged her back tight. I cried into her shoulder not believing that she was here right now.

"My baby my beautiful babygirl" I said between my sobs as I held her not wanting to let go. I stood up with her in my arms just holding her as I cried. I looked up to see everyone standing there with smiles on their faces. Kennedy and Janiya were holding their phones recording everything. Alex and Xavier were just watching with smiles. I looked to see my mom standing there making me cry harder.

"I missed you mommy" Hay said as she pulled her head of my shoulder. She was crying as well. I smiled and kissed her forehead.

"I missed you too babygirl so much" I said before turning to Ezra who was standing there watching with a small smile.

"Mommy can I stay with you" Hayley asked me making me avert my attention back to her.

"Sure baby. We can even go to the beach like you always wanted" I said making her squeal and smile. I laughed and looked at Ezra.

"You did this?" I asked as I wiped my eyes sniffling. He nodded before stepping a little closer.

"I brought tickets for Hayley and your mom that day you went to the beach and you was talking about how much you missed her. They flew out yesterday and I kept them at my place for the night. Hayley even became my little helper with helping me with this little set up" Ezra said making me smile as I looked down at her.

"We has to keep her occupied while you guys had your date because she really wanted to be with you" Kennedy then said making me look back at them. I looked down as tears kept running down my cheeks like a flood.

"I don't know what to say" I mumbled as I looked at my daughter wishing that this wasn't a dream.

"Thank you so much Ezra. All of you thank you" I said as I looked at him and everyone behind us. I smiled and nodded as I looked down at Hay as she looked at me playing with my hair some.

"I have something else to ask you with everyone here." Ezra said as he stepped a little closer to me. I
looked up at him as I tried to wipe my eyes again.

"Yes" I pushed out as I looked at him. He took my free hand and smiled softly at me.

"Jaida I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend" He said making my heart stop. I froze as I looked at him. He waited for my answer but when he realized that I wasn't going to answer him, he looked back at my friends and family worried.

"Jaida" He said to me again and I looked away.

"Yes" I said before looking back at him. I smiled at him and nodded yes. He smiled and hugged me being careful of Hayley being in my arms.

"Yes" Hayley screamed not really knowing what's going on. I laughed and kissed her cheek before leaning my head on Ezra's chest.

I'm happy.
