THIRD PERSON POV A few days later
Jaida was walking toward the hospital doors ready to leave finally. They kept her an extra day for reasons Jaida didn't give a shit about. She was just happy she was out now.
"Come on Baby" Ezra said as he helped her get in the car. She thanked him and put her seatbelt on.
"Anywhere you want to go before we go home" Ezra asked as they pulled out of the hospital parking lot.
"Can we just go home. I want to take a shower and just relax" Jaida mumbled as she leaned her head on the car window. Ezra nodded and turned right headed in the direction of her building.
"No I meant your place" Jaida said making him look at her with a confused look on his face.
She said home though...does she think of my place as home? Ezra thought to himself before doing a u-turn to his place.
"Do you want any food?" He asked as he let the windows down.
"Can we get Chick-fil-A?" She asked knowing there was one on the way to his condo. He nodded before turning the radio on. He held her hand with his free hand as he drove.

"Babe I really appreciate you" Jaida said looking at him. Ezra smiled glancing at her before looking back at the road.
"Like you accepted my past and my baby girl. You accepted me as a person. I just really appreciate you and care for you. I just want you to know that. I love you for that and I want you to know that I'll always be there for you" She mumbled to him as she bit her lip. She didn't always have the best ways of telling people about her feelings but she tried.
Ezra looked at her and smiled kissing her hand softly.
"Say that again" he whispered making Jaida raise her eyebrow.
He wanted her to repeat that again?
"I appreciate you for accepting-"
"No the part where you said you love me." He said cutting her off. She didn't even realize that she even said it.
"I love you" she whispered to him looking at him. He smiled and stopped at a red light. He grabbed her face and pulled her into a kiss making her moan softly.
"I love you too" He said as he pulled away from her looking into her eyes. She blushed and kissed his lips again before asking him to repeat his words.
"I love you Jaida Archer" he said and Jaida giggles. Cars blew their horn behind them making the pair pull away. Ezra started driving again and Jaida looked out the window with a smile on her face.
