Reader's POV
I helped the servants, and my parents pick everything up from the party. I put the dishes in the kitchen and help one of the maids with the washing and drying method, after that, I put the dishes away. I took all the banners down and away in the storage unit, and finally, I collect all the tablecloths and put them into the washing. But little did I know is that would be the last time I would be with my parents and my servants.
I went to bed at midnight and a couple of hours later, I heard screams coming from outside of my bedroom and there was fire everywhere I looked. I run as fast as I could while shouting for my parents.
"Mother! Father! Where are you?!"
The fire was spreading so rapidly. I wasn't sure if any of our servants would be alive. I tried looking for my dad. I ran as fast as I could so, the fire wouldn't burn me. I ran into his office to see him burning where he lay. I screamed in terror.
"Father! No!"
I cried and ran to find if my mother was still alive. The flames burned my skin a few times whenever I slowed down a little. I found my mom in the library almost engulfed in flames. She was screaming non-stop. I run to her and pull her out of there before she got burned. Smoke began to fill our lungs causing both of us to cough. I laid her down and begged her not to die.
"Mother, please...don't leave me."
She placed her hands on my face and said in her sweet voice.
"Babygirl, it's too late for me. Go to the Phantomhive Manor, they'll take you in."
I started crying non-stop now. I yelled in a shaky voice.
"Mom, no! Please no!"
"Baby, it's okay. Run and take this. I'll always be with you, my love. You're not alone. Be strong for me."
She handed me the family album. My mom kissed my forehead and with a face full of salty tears, I fled from my mansion that I loved so much; the mansion I grew up in as a child. As soon as I got out, I looked back to see the building totally embedded in raging flames. I could also hear the terrified screams of the servants perishing in the fire. I cried and turned to the road and began my walk to Phantomhive Manor.
Sebastian's POV
I put the young lord to bed a couple of hours ago and decided that I would write in my diary. I was writing like normal and then out of nowhere, (Y/N), crept her way into my mind. I then started writing about her.
'She was remarkably beautiful. Tiny waist, great rack, and a loveable personality. I hope I have the opportunity to see her again.'
A few more minutes ticked by, then I heard a knock on the door. I looked at the clock. 2:23 am. Why is someone knocking at this hour of the night? I get up and walk downstairs and right before I opened the door, my young master came out of his room to see what the racket was.
"What is that noise, Sebastian?"
"I'm not certain. I was about t-"
My sentence got cut off by a scream of desperation and terror.
"Sebastian! Ciel! Please, is anyone there?! Please help me!"
My eyes widened at the recognition of that voice.
"(Y/N)?"
I opened the door and see her drenched in the rain and had a few burn marks on her once soft skin. She stood there breathing heavily clutching what looked to be a scrapbook to her chest tightly and her nightgown was torn and burnt. It shocked me to see her like this. The young lord came to see who it was, most likely because he couldn't see who it was from behind me.
