Reader's POV
We were outside doing auditions for the circus. First, Ciel had to throw daggers at a target but I can tell Sebastian was helping him. Then, Ciel had to walk a tight rope. He also fell off but Sebastian flicked little rocks at him causing Ciel to regain his balance. Joker started clapping for him.
"Well, I'm surprised you made it through that. I thought you were gonna fall but, here ya are!"
"Yes, here I am."
Ciel said slightly annoyed. Sebastian was trying so hard not to laugh along with me. Joker then turned to us.
"Alright, Sebastian is it? Show us what you can do."
He smiled and did so many things that I couldn't keep up with him. Joker stopped him before he tried to swallow a sword. I could see everyone's eyes on Sebastian. Then came my turn.
"Alright, let's see what you can do. Dagger is gonna throw knives at you and y'er gonna dodge them."
I was ready and the knives were thrown. I jumped onto the top of a pillar and backflipped off landing my feet. I ran and flipped then finally landed doing the splits with my legs. Everyone clapped and cheered.
"I think we have our new performers but, there's one thing you have to do. One big smile!"
Sebastian and I were able to smile easily but, Ciel was having difficulties trying to smile. But he managed. I'm not gonna lie he had such an adorable smile. Soon, Joker introduced us to everyone and we were given new names.
"The tall one is Black, the small one is Smile, and the lady is Catwoman."
I blushed at my new name. I kind of like it. Sebastian held onto my hand and smiled. We said hello to everyone and then Sebastian and I overheard Joker, Dagger, and Beast talking about them losing the attention the circus once had in the past. Sebastian went over and started talking to them.
"If the attention is decreasing, then maybe something new would attract the people. Catwoman has a great talent at singing and playing guitar."
Sebastian tells them. Joker seemed amused.
"Catwoman, come here."
They handed me a guitar and I looked at Sebastian. He reassured me with a smile and a wink. Joker said.
"Black says you can play the guitar pretty well. Show us please."
I worked my magic.
