I woke up and went to the kitchen to see all the servants except Sebby. I was wondering what they were doing.
"What are you guys doing?"
"We're kind of nervous, yes we are."
"Why is that?"
"The young master wants us to meet him in his study. I think we're all gonna get fired!"
Mey-rin yelled. I was kind of confused. Why would the young earl want to fire these three servants? They haven't screwed anything up at all this week. Sebastian seems to be less tired since he doesn't have to deal with these three messing up. I'm glad that the very few things I did to help them helped Sebastian as well.
"I don't see why he would fire you. You all work very hard every day."
"That's nice of you to say little lady but, it is possible."
Baldroy said. I told them in a soft, reassuring voice.
"You know what? You might be overreacting for no reason."
They seem to kind of agree with me. Then, Finny said.
"Oh, by the way, the young master wanted to see you too."
I was taken aback by learning that Ciel wanted to see me along with the other servants. I walked with the servants into Ciel's office, and he spoke.
"I have a job for all of you."
The servants were excited about getting a job but, I was confused. I'm not a servant so why am I getting a job? I thought I would say quietly and listen to what Ciel had to say. He pulled out a large camera. He explained that the camera is said to have a legend around it. When a photo is taken of a person, the being that person cares most about will appear in the photo as well. The being can be alive or dead. This got my attention and so did the servants.
"I want you four to take a picture of Sebastian with this camera."
He ordered. I was thinking to myself.
'If that's the case and Sebastian cares about someone, then who would show up in the photo? Would it be me?!'
Baldroy's voice brought me out of my thoughts.
"That's something I wanna see. He's just as human as we are. He's gotta have at least a weakness or two."
Ciel smiled mischievously. We went along with the plan and tried looking for Sebastian. We managed to find him in the library. He was cleaning the entire room from top to bottom. He stopped for a split second. We almost got the photo until he left the room. The servants grunted in frustration. I sighed and thought that maybe we got to try harder to get that photo. We decided to take a break because the others had their own tasks to do themselves.
I realized I left mylucky necklace in my room and went to my room to put it on. It was a choker ofa bell.
