Reader's POV

After Ciel ordered Sebastian to hunt down Jack the Ripper being Madam Red and Grelle Sutcliffe, Sebastian and Grelle go at it in a fight while I stay with Ciel. I grabbed Ciel's shoulder and kept him back. Ciel questioned his aunt.

"How could you do this? You're a doctor."

She growled in anger.

"You wouldn't understand if I told you. You're just a child!"

She charged at us and pushed me away from him causing me to hit my head very hard on the cobblestone ground. I put my hand on my head in reaction to the pain and I look to see Madam Red holding Ciel in place by his throat. She muttered under her breath while gritting her teeth.

"You brat..."

She raised a knife above her head and yelled.

"You shouldn't have been born in the first place!"

I tried to move but I was dizzy from falling on my head. Sebastian was pinned against a wall too. Grelle's blade was inches from hitting Sebastian's shoulder. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want Ciel to get killed nor Sebastian to be hurt or worse killed himself. I tried to get up but, immediately stumbled back on the cobblestone. Sebastian yelled.

"Master!"

Then, the blood spatters everywhere. I close my eyes and hear Ciel yell.

"Sebastian, stop! Don't kill her!"

I open my eyes to see Sebastian frozen in place and then cover his arm. I see the blood and Ciel muttering up his breath.

"Your arm."

Grelle pulls his chainsaw out of a wall. I look to see a giant blood splatter where Sebastian was. Grelle spoke in a cocky tone.

"How noble of you, Bassy. Sacrificing your own limb to save that little brat. Madam, hurry up and kill him already."

Madam Red was now crying by this point.

"I can't. I can't kill my sister's son."

Grelle seems unpleased with that response.

"Growing soft on me now? After all those deaths?"

She continued to cry.

"I just can't kill him. This boy is my-"

She got cut off by Grelle impaling her with his chainsaw.

"What a disappointment you are. What use do I have for you if you're just another woman?"

We all saw a bright light come from her wound. Ciel asked.

"What is that?"

Sebastian answered.

"The cinematic record. The whole life of a person from birth until death. Grim reapers are usually there to harvest the souls of the dying."

I figured out what the light meant.

"So, in other words, their lives flash before their eyes."

Sebastian smiled at me. Madam Red was talking about how she hated the red hair she inherited from her father but, soon she came to love it and the Earl of Phantomhive. Her sister being Ciel's mother married the Earl and once again she hated the color red. But she couldn't bring herself to hate them. Soon, she too met a man and got married. Then, tragedy struck her. A carriage accident happened to her and her husband. It killed her husband instantly and to save her life the doctors had no choice but to remove her uterus and her unborn child. Everything was slipping away from her. Then the Phantomhive Manor went up in flames. The color she hated most, the color red. Finally, a miracle seemed to happen. Her darling nephew survived somehow and with him, a butler dressed in all black. If this boy could come back, then why not the ones she loved most? A memory showed Madam at her job. A prostitute was wanting an abortion because she claimed a child would be troublesome. That woman had what Madam didn't, something she never has a chance to have again. So then, Madam Red made up her mind and desired to stain everything red with her own two hands along with Grelle Sutcliffe at her side. Her record ended as soon as she hit the cobblestone floor. A single tear running down her face.
