Chapter 12- Another Case

Reader's POV

I wake up to the sunlight hitting my face and I see an empty room. Sebastian left the room already to get to work for Ciel. I looked around and noticed how neat and tidy Sebastian was. His room had a desk, a closet, and a bed obviously. But it was more spacious than I thought. I got up and saw a silver tray full of breakfast along with a note. It read:

Good morning, my Kitten.

I see you woke up and took the liberty of making breakfast and leaving it for you. After you're done, can you meet with me and the young lord in his office? I'll see you there. I love you, Kitten.

I smiled at the note and happily ate my breakfast. It was French toast sticks with sausage on the side with orange juice. It was so warm and fresh as it slid down my throat. The flavor really explodes in your mouth. I grabbed the silver tray after finishing off my last bite and walked it to the kitchen. I saw no one in there so, I decided to save Sebastian and the others time by washing it myself.

After I was done with cleaning the dishes and tray, I strolled down the halls and finally came to Ciel's office. I knocked and then opened the door to see Ciel at his desk reading a letter from what seemed to be from the queen and Sebastian by his side smiling as always.

Sometime later...

'Huh, a trip to the Noah Ark Circus? To think that a large number of children have gone missing hurts Queen Victoria's heart.'

I thought to myself as I packed my belongings. I packed the necessitates like clothes and some weapons just in case Sebastian, Ciel, and I get into a sticky situation. We walked outside to the carriage and put our luggage in the back. Ciel ordered his servants before leaving.

"We're gonna be working in London for some time. You lot take care of the manor while I'm away."

"Yes, my lord."

They all said in unison. We got into the carriage and were drove off into the day. It took quite a bit so, I ended up falling asleep on Sebastian's shoulder. The next time I wake up, we were outside a massive royal blue tent.

We got tickets and took our seats. The lights went off and the show began. I held onto Sebastian's hand as we watched. A man with bright orange hair stood in the middle of the tent under the spotlight.

"Ladies, gentlemen, boys, and girls of all ages, I'm Joker, tonight's ringer leader, welcome to the Noah's Ark Circus!"

Then several more circus performers ran up to where Joker was. A huge man popped up and spewed fire out of his mouth after being introduced by Jumbo. A couple of performers on the trapeze were introduced as Peter and Wendy. Another performer throwing knives at targets being introduced as Dagger. A young-looking performer on the highest tightrope doing acrobatics named Doll, and finally the last performer having a tiger jump through a flaming hoop introduced as Beast.

"This next act requires two people from the audience. Anyone up for the task?"

 Ciel said to himself.

"I can't see any of the children. This was a waste of my time."

Sebastian and I stood up. Ciel looked at us and asked.

"Why are you two standing?"

Joker says out loud.

"Ah, the gente in the tailcoat and the young lady in the black dress seem eager."

We walk down and I whisper to Sebby.

"What are we doing sweetheart?"

"Just flow me lead."
