Chapter 10- First Date

Reader's POV

I can't believe Sebastian finally asked me out on a date! I got up early to go shopping for something special and I found a beautiful red and black dress I absolutely fell in love with. I made it back to Phantomhive Manor and hid it in my closet. I was greeted by Sebastian giving me breakfast in bed.

"Good morning, Kitten."

I blushed at his voice.

"Morning, Sebby."

He looked at me with a smile and laid a platter on my nightstand. I decided to ask.

"Sebastian, where do you plan on taking me?"

He paused then chuckled.

"Quite curious, aren't you? Don't you know curiosity killed the cat?"

"Yes, I'm aware of that fact. But this cat can take care of herself."

He leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"You'll see soon. It's someplace very special."

I chuckle as I feel shivers run down my spine. I went along with my day by talking with the other servants and I was playing around with my hair. I couldn't think of anything too elegant so, I decided on leaving my hair down and curling it. I was incredibly excited about this date. If my maid, Lisa, could see me right now she would be so excited for me.

I walked around the manor to get some exercise because this manor is fricking huge! I ran into the three other servants, and they asked.

"Why do you look excited? Did Mr. Sebastian ask you out or something?"

"Yeah, he did indeed."

They all scream.

"What?!"

I cover my ears from the high pitch in volume. I removed my hands afterward and they started asking questions.

"When did this happen?"

"What are you guys gonna do?"

"Where are you going?"

I tried to keep up with their questions as best as I could.

"I don't know where we're going but, he said that it's a surprise."

"Yeah, that sure does sound like him."

Baldroy said while smoking his cigarette. I wonder where Sebastian is gonna take me tonight. Many hours passed; I was in my room getting ready for this surprise date with Sebastian. I got my red dress on and to go with it I bought a cloak to match it in case we're going outside somewhere. I got my hair done and then a knock on my door. I open the door to see Sebastian.

"My lady."

He held out his hand. I gave him my hand then he kissed the back of it. I smiled and he looked at my dress.

"You look absolutely ravishing in that dress."

"I hope I'm not too over-dressed."

"No, not at all."

We left and stepped into a carriage. I sat next to him holding his arm as we rode off to our destination. I was quite warm sitting this close to him. I snuggle in even closer and lay my head on his shoulder. We drove around for about thirty minutes, but it felt like five minutes to me. We exited the carriage and started going on a stroll through town and into the woods on the trails.

The moonlight was so beautiful lighting our way through the forest. I held onto his arm as we walked. I heard all kinds of wildlife as we walked on the trails. Then, a familiar noise made its way to my ear. Sebastian said.

"We're here."

He led me to a little space in the woods and my eyes grew wide. It was a little park for cats. It was like a cat hotel. It was surrounded by a fence and there were little kennels for the cat and plenty of cat toys all around the place.

"Sebastian, how did you know that this was here?"

"I came across this one night and found a lot of cats so, I built all of this for them."

"Aw, Sebastian. You're too sweet."

I hugged him causing him to wrap his long arms around me. We stayed for quite a bit and played with the cats. There were Bengal cats, American Shorthair cats, Munchkin cats, and Siamese cats. They would crawl and purr all over us. Some of them really liked laying down in our laps. I let my head rest on Sebastian's shoulder as we talked.

"Sebastian, may I ask you something?"

"Of course, my lady."

"D-do you l-like me?"

He blushed and I could see him starting to sweat slightly. He stayed silent for a few seconds and finally he spoke.
