Although it was still quite warm outside, Harry bordered the Hogwarts express wearing a heavy black hoodie.
His hood was pulled over his head, hiding the pinkened lash mark on his cheek as well as his messy black curls.
His sleeves were pulled way past his wrists, flopping helplessly in a cute manner.
Suddenly Harry caught sight of a head of incredibly bushy brown hair and huge front teeth. Hermione engulfed him in a hug. Harry winced as his wrists were pressured.
"Hey Harry! Ron is running a little late!"
Harry mustered a weak half smile. Hermiones grin died in her lips.
"Harry what's wrong?"
He looked away. Hermiones hand found it's way to Harry's hood and gently pulled it off his head to reveal watery green eyes and a long pink slash.
"Oh Harry," she whispered. "What did they do to you!"
Then she enveloped him into a hug. Harry let out a barely audible whimper.
Hermione must have heard because she lessened her grip on him.
"Harry I'm so sorry!"
Ron popped up out of nowhere.
"Hey 'Mione. Hey Harry. What's going on?"
"Ron look at this."
Hermione motioned Ron over to Harry's other side. Ron gasped.
