I froze on my spot.

I didn't know what to do.

Should I approach it or should I let it approach me?

It was looking right at me, straight in the eye. I stared back at it, in amazement. In awe. It had the most beautiful oceanic eyes I've ever seen. Or maybe it's just me being dramatic-but it indeed was stunning. It had pale white scales over it's body, strong features and huge horns on top of it. It looked ferocious, yet magnificent.

I made a decision. Maybe a stupid one, but a decision nonetheless.

This was either going to be my worst decision or maybe the right decision.

I decided to step closer to it, slowly but steadily.

The dragon watched me as I moved towards it. When I thought I was confident, it growled at me. I flinched at that. I probably had confusion written all over my face. I don't why, but I wanted to laugh out loud. But, I tried controlling it.

I walked further towards it. It's eyes watched my every movement, observing me. I finally reached in front of it, close enough for it to see me properly. I looked up at it's eyes. Big, round, incredible blue eyes were staring back at me.It was large, but not 'that' large. It was at least medium sized, but still larger than me.

It lowered it's head and I, too, started bending backwards. It looked at me confusingly. I bet it must be thinking 'what's wrong with this vampire?'

I stood still, for the sake of it. Its sniffed me and I couldn't help but let out a small laugh. It's breathing tickled my neck as it sniffed me.

It tilted it's head as if it was curious. I, too, titled my head, mimicking it. For some reason, I felt like child. I don't know why, though.

It nuzzled it's head in the crook of my neck. Honestly, it still tickled for me. Just when I thought that we were get comfortable around each other, I heard a voice calling out for me.

"Rune!" it sounded like Dawn.

The dragon retracted it's head at the sound of the voice. It sounded like it was only a few distance away.

"Oh no." I said to myself in a low voice, looking at the direction where the voice came from. I don't want to go back now. I wanted to stay here and talk to my mate.

The dragon looked down at me, and if it was possible, it looked concerned. I looked at it with confusion.

It then stepped back and lowered itself. It gave me this look that told me to climb on it. I honestly didn't know whether this was a good idea but it's worth a shot. I also wonder where it's going to take me.
