"The last time I've seen you smile like that was when I worked at that nightclub and you had me on my knees sucking your-"
"Don't fucking ruin the moment Jimin." Yoongi scolds the younger, not even looking at him as he has his eyes on his phone, much like he's been doing all week.
Jimin has noticed Yoongi's change in attitude, the first being that Yoongi is in an oddly good mood, and the other being his gummy smile, which is rare, but when spotted, it's a delight to see.
It all started that day when Yoongi came home late from making a last minute delivery. Right away he went and locked himself in his room, only to come out to eat and take a shower.
Jimin didn't pay much attention first, he was too busy studying for exams and such. But when Yoongi started smiling and giggling at his phone, that's when Jimin knew something was up.
"So." Jimin gets up from his seat at the kitchen table and goes over to the couch where Yoongi is casually laying on. "Who is it?" He curiously asks, dipping his head low to see who is the mystery person texting Yoongi.
Because Jimin may or may not be slightly jealous.
"A friend." Yoongi vaguely replies, Jimin scoffs at that.
"Who? Do I know them?" Jimin persists, dipping his head lower to try and peek at a name, but Yoongi puts his phone away and gets up from the couch to go and put his boots on.
"She works at the hospital so maybe." Yoongi says as he puts his boots on, getting himself ready to leave.
"She?" Jimin's mouth falls agape, shocked to hear Yoongi was making new friends, a girl especially, and by the way he's always smiling, he must really like this girl a lot.
Okay, so perhaps Jimin may be really jealous.
"So you're into women now?" Jimin asks, genuinely curious since he's never seen Yoongi talk to girls.
"I'm just making new friends Jimin. That doesn't mean I'm going to fuck them if that's what you're thinking." Yoongi spares him a glance and Jimin gulps lightly, feeling his cheeks burn at the image of Yoongi fucking some girl when it should be-
"I wasn't thinking that." He totally was thinking that, which further stimulates his petty jealousy.
"Sure." Yoongi rolls his eyes and grabs his keys, placing them -along with his phone- in his jacket.
"What is her name?" Jimin asks.
"Dawon." Yoongi mutters.
"Is she pretty?" For some reason it hurt Jimin to ask, and he knew it would just by the contempt smile on Yoongi's face.
"Yes, she's very pretty." Yoongi tells him, Jimin catches a small tint of blush on Yoongi's cheek. "I'm heading out. Don't wait up for me because I'll be back late." With that, Yoongi leaves, and Jimin stares at the door for a few seconds before giving in with a deep sigh.
"Get it together Jimin, he's not into you." He tells himself, but still it hurts to acknowledge that fact.
Just as he's about to go to his room and mope about it, his cellphone dings with a message. He takes it out, immediately his jaw drops at the last person he'd ever expect to message him.
Taehyung.
++++
"I just moved to Seoul a year ago to study medicine and work." Dawon talks about herself, both her and Yoongi are at the park, both sitting under the shade of the trees and drinking soju while snacking on kimbap and falling deep into a conversation.
