"Dawon, why are you helping me?" Hoseok asks.
Dawon remains silent, her thoughts tip-toeing around what her brother just asked as she stares up at the ceiling, feeling her brother's gaze burning into her skin.
Both of them were laying together in bed, with Hoseok in his sisters arms, resting his head upon her chest while she ran her hand through his soft hair, gently massaging it, just the way he likes.
"Remember when you were five years old and you got sick with a high fever?" Hoseok hums in response, waiting for her to continue. "Mom and dad were really worried about you, so was I."
She pauses, letting that memory seep into her mind. "You were so frail, so weak. It killed me inside to see you suffer." She feels her brother shift, then his arm wrapping around her waist, holding her close, comforting her.
"You stood by my side and took good care of me." Hoseok mumbles, softly trailing his fingers between the strands of his sister's hair. "You always knew how to make me feel better."
Dawon nods with a tight lipped smile. "I did, and whenever you had gotten sick, I was always there to take care of you....until..." her smile slowly fades at another memory.
Hoseok can tell what she's thinking about because he was thinking of it too.
The night he got raped.
The night night where he died and turned into the monster that he is today.
"When you got raped..." Dawon cringes upon saying such a distasteful word, but Hoseok nuzzles his face upon her chest, silently urging her to continue.
"We did all that we could to take care of you...but it wasn't enough." Dawon's breath hitches, Hoseok tilts his head up and sees that she's crying. Dawon continues with, "When you shut me out and left, I felt like I failed you." Her words fall into a stream of soft sobs, Hoseok stays silent as he watches his sister cry.
"It wasn't your fault Dawon." He tells her, softly caressing her cheek and wiping away her tears, comforting her. "I always appreciated what you did for me, but I left because I could no longer be the little brother you cherished so much."
"I became the monster that was born inside me."
Dawon nods silently, allowing her brothers soft touches to comfort her. "I know what you did, and I don't support the fact that you became a serial killer. You...could have came back to me and I would have helped you."
"I would have ended up killing you." Hoseok admits. "My mind wasn't the same back then, it still isn't."
"But I'm not going to kill you." Hoseok continues when he senses her hesitation. He hugs her tightly, rubbing his face between her breasts, basking in her warmth.
Dawon wraps him in her warms, clutching onto him as if the world would end at that moment. "I know you wont." She says as she plants a soft kiss upon his head. "I'm still going to help you."
"That's so reassuring." He says, holding onto his sister while she returns her hand through his hair, softly massaging it again. "Dawon please don't let me go." He whispers, needing just abit more of this human affection to replace that void in his heart.
The void that was left by Min Yoongi.
Dawon holds him tight, pressing his head firmly between her breasts, giving all her warmth and love to her brother.
