A few days later.
Jessie was walking through the stores for some food for her home when she was approached by a man in a suit
"Miss Barnes?" He asked
"Who's asking?" Jessie asked back as she walked closer to the tills, just how Bucky taught her.
"I am the man who hired Mr Rogers for his new role... we need dancers and I thought you would be an amazing beautiful woman to join him" he said and Jessie laughed
"I don't dance and neither does Steve to be honest... I recognise you now though from the SSR base" Jessie said as she paid for her groceries.
"Yes that's me. So would you at least like to come on tour with him?" He asked
"Is that allowed with all of your rules?" Jessie questioned making him laugh
"You are a very unique young lady" he said and Jessie smiled as she walked with him out the shop
"Just overly cautions when men approach me. My brother, Sergeant James Barnes, he taught me it" Jessie explained
"He must of been smart and wise. You would make a great SSR agent" he said and Jessie shook her head.
"I'm not a office kind of gal. I work in a cafe but considering the time working at a club soon as well" Jessie explained
"What if you were with Agent Carter all the time?" He offered
"Not my style Sir, however I'll happily join you for the shows just not involved" Jessie said and he nodded and handed her a leaflet of all the dates and places of the shows.
"Those are the dates but you should arrive early today and watch the rehearsals. Mr Rogers would enjoy your company" He explained and Jessie made her walk home.
Jessie went to her apartment and packed a bag full of clothing and food and threw it in the back of the taxi cab and drove to the location.
"Jessica Barnes, nice to meet you" a woman said and Jessie smiled
"Hi. Where is Steve?" Jessie questioned
"Follow me" The woman answered and walked Jessie to Steve.
"The first show is in 6 hours so he might be a bit nervous" the woman said and Jessie giggled a bit and nodded
"Yeah I can expect that" she said and went to watch the dancers as Steve as rehearsing his lines.
6 hours later
"I don't know if I can do this" Steve said as he waited to go onto the stage infront of a crowd
"You'll be fine star spangled" Jessie teased
"You gotta sell a few bonds, bonds buy bullets, bullets kill a few Nazis. Bing, bang, boom. You're an American hero" The man helping Steve said
"Its not how I pictured getting there" Steve answered and Jessie laughed
"The senator's got a lot of pull on the hill. Play ball with us and then you will be leading your own platoon in no time" he said and then the music started.
"Good luck" Jessie added before Steve was stumbling through the curtains onto the stage and the song began properly
"You coming with us to all the other cities?" The guy asked Jessie
"Yeah gonna keep an eye on Steve" Jessie laughed
Several performances later they arrived on a army camp.
"Peg!" Jessie said as she saw the Brittish woman pass the backstage
