♡Reminder, I know Rhodey is like 52 ish... but in a few parts, it clears out to a smaller age gap♡

4 days later

"Morning Uncle Rhodey" George said jumping on Rhodes.

"Morning Bud, is your mama awake?" Rhodey asked

"She hangover" George answered

"Great, and not a word you should say Buddy" Rhodey laughed before he opened up the door to his guestroom seeing Jessie led on the bed
"Hows your head?" Rhodey joked

"Amazing" Jessie replied sarcastically and Rhodey handed her a bottle of water.

"Do you even remember last night?" Rhodey asked

"Parts... I remember the beginning then parts of the end" Jessie said

"Alright..." Rhodey said

"It will come back to me, this is not amnesia, it is alcohol" Jessie laughed

"Good" Rhodey said

"Oh god... we didn't, did we?" Jessie asked getting the sense of that awkwardness

"We did... drunkenly" Rhodes answered

"Tell me Tony didn't know" Jessie said

"That's your response?" Rhodey asked

"Well, I know that we aren't more than best friends... drunken mistakes" Jessie said

"I know, and Tony didn't know" Rhodey answered

"You never get that drunk... why did you?" Jessie asked

"You were throwing shots down my throat" Rhodey answered

"Makes sense... well... that's all sorted so that's fine... I got to meet Nat at the monument they finally put up with all the names... I'll take George" Jessie said and Rhodey nodded

"Well, I got a text this morning. You're place is ready so I'll move your stuff over for you" Rhodey said and Jessie nodded. She got up and dressed and she walked out to see George ready

"We see Auntie Tasha!" George said happily

"Yes we are... let's go buddy" Jessie said as she held his hand. She smiled at Rhodey before she walked out and saw Nat in her car.

"Morning... someone looks hungover" Nat stated

"Well, I got of my meds so I took advantage of it... a little too much advantage" Jessie explained as she strapped her son in the carseat.

"Oh... I get it, so you two had sex?" Nat asked and Jessie slapped her arm

"1) no saying that word, he picks up everything and 2.... " Jessie finished with a tiny nod

"Your secret is safe with me" Nat laughed

"I was drunk, I didn't mean to... he didn't either.... plus with me having a target on my back from those two idiots that attacked me, I just can't deal with knowing it" Jessie explained

"Don't worry, those idiots haven't shown for a while now" Nat said

"Don't jinx it" Jessie said and they arrived at the monuments. Jessie picked up George and they carried him down to the stone where
'James Barnes' was presented. Jessie let her fingers gently glaze over the writing with a smile and tears in her eyes.

"Who's name?" George asked

"That Buddy... that is your uncle Bucky's name" Nat said

"Where is he?" Geroge asked

"Gone baby, he got taken away like every other name here... he will be back, one day" Jessie smiled as she wiped a tear off her face.

"There you are" the woman said

"Nat, run with George" Jessie ordered as she turned around. Before Nat could run, the other got in the way. Jessie mumbled a few curse words before telling Nat to hide him next to the stones.

Jessie went after the woman while Nat took down the male so she could run George to safety

"How did you find me?" Jessie asked the woman, while dodging a few hits

"Simple, our dad and uncle are in these stone titles" she said

"Victims of the snap" Jessie said and she agreed

"Words out, you could have individually stopped him. But you didn't" She said and sliced her sword at Jessie's abdominal, only scraping the flesh

"Evil little bitch, just like your uncle" Jessie said

"You figured it out" The woman responded

"Yep, even with amnesia, nothing makes me forget that relationship, total shit show. This just shows his bloodline produces more" Jessie answered and she grabbed the blade with her mechanic arm and then kicked the woman in the stomach

"Unexpected" the woman mumbled

"I know, that was the idea" Jessie smirked and gained her powers into the arm and slowly started to drain away until the women fell unconscious. Jessie ran off to see Nat and George hidden behind a few cars

"Mama!" George said and ran upto her.

"What happened?" Nat asked

"I drained her... only a little" Jessie explained as she hugged her son tightly.

"Let's go take you home" Nat said as they walked to her car and soon drove back to Rhodeys.

"Rhodes, we are back" Jessie yelled

"On time, we just loaded out the last box... well, here is your keys" Rhodey said and she took them.

•2 months later•

Jessie sat there with Natasha, George was at his toddler group, leaving Jessie time to negotiate with Nat.

"You know, I don't wanna know. Another is just... nope, impossible" Jessie denied

"Well, someone can't remember having done it because she was drunk, I'll look at the results for you" Nat said

"No! I don't want you knowing either" Jessie argued

"Jessica, you don't get an option" Nat said in a stern tone

"Ugh fine. You win, as usual" Jessie said as she sat on her bed, nervously.

"Why are you so nervous?" Nat giggled

"Because, it is about to say a lot in just a small amount of time" Jessie explained

"Oh you big baby, it is just meaning you got a next step in your life. Could be worse, could be working on meetings like I am" Nat laughed

"No no no! Shit Tasha! The meeting starts the same time the results come in!" Jessie said and she covered her face with a pillow

"Well, what better timing to tell everyone" Nat teased

"No cuz he will be on the call! He should find out separately if it happens" Jessie said and then the call started

"Calm it" Nat snapped

"What's going on there?" Rhodey asked as he, Nebula, Carol and Okoye appeared as holograms in the room

"Jessie just took a test" Nat said and Jessie slapped her with her normal hand

"What kind?" Rhodey asked confusingly

"Pregnancy!" Nat shouted

"Natalia!" Jessie shouted at her, before covering her face with a pillow again

"Who's the lucky guy?" Carol asked

"Well..." Nat said, causing them all to instantly look around to Rhodey

"Oh no" Rhodey said
