2 weeks later.

Jessie sat at the window with George watching the night sky. She hummed a small tune

"Star!" George suddenly blurted out and Jessie gave her son a strange look before she looked at the falling thing he was pointing at. She grabbed George and felt the compound shake

"Steven!" Jessie yelled and he ran out the bathrooms and ran with her outside. They saw the night sky and Jessie took off her jumper and wrapped her son in it while Bruce and Nat also ran outside. They saw the huge ship come down with who looked like Carol, Pepper soon ran out as well and held onto Jessie's arm nervously.

The door opens as Carol puts it down then some woman helped Tony out and Steve ran up on the ram to help.
"Go" Jessie told her and she leaped into Tony's arms. Jessie smiled as she clutched her son closely as he shivered slightly.
"Sorry little man" Jessie apologised, realising her in a sports bra wasn't warm for him as her skin got colder.

"Tony" George laughed and Tony smiled as he walked over to them both

"Tony..." Jessie smiled and hugged him slightly

"I missed you both" Tony said and Jessie smiled

"Jess, go inside you'll freeze!" She heard Nat yell

"Welp, I'll go grab some blankets and meet you lot in a few minutes" Jessie said as she ran off with George into the compound. She ran to her room and grabbed a blanket and wrapped it also around George. She carried the sleepy boy to the area the others where in and she rested on a chair with him curled up on her lap and chest, alseep. She watched the faces of the lost members go by on the screen, only to look away once she saw Bucky.

"Its been 23 days since Thanos came to earth" Rhodey said

"World governments are in pieces, as you can imagine. But the parts that still work are trying to take a census. It looks like he did what he was going to do" Natasha explained as more faces were shown on the screen. As soon as Peter was shown, Rhodey switched it off as he saw Tony's face.
"Thanos wiped out 50 percent of living creatures on Earth" Natasha explained

"Not just Earth" Carol piped up

"Are you sure about that?" Rhodey asked

"You never have to ask me that" Carol responded

"Where is he now?" Tony asked

"We don't know, he just opened a portal and walked through it" Steve answered. Tony then suddenly looked around and saw Thor outside

"What's his deal?" Tony asked

"Hes pissed off" The weird creature said, only receiving a glair which Tony smiled at before turning to see the animal.
"He thinks he failed, which of course he did. But there's a lot of that going around, ain't there?"

"One, bad words are banned and two until this second, I literally thought you were a build-a-bear" Tony stated making Jessie smiled a little as she kept humming George's favourite song. She soon covered his ears as Tony and Steve started to shout at each other. Soon Tony falls down and Collapses, causing Jessie to panic but she kept it under control trying to keep her son asleep.

"You're being out of character silent" Nat stated and Jessie nodded to her asleep son
"Makes sense now, just go put him to bed Jessie, and sleep yourself" Nat said and Jessie shook her head. She got up and put George to bed and headed back to the others.
Jessie walked back to the other as they were making some ridiculous plan to kill Thanos or something. She walked in and sat down again, only to see them finish. Thor finally stood up and held his hand out as his Axe came into his grasp, carol not flinching a muscle.

"I like this one" Thor said

"Let's go her that son of a bitch" Steve said and they all got ready to go

"Jess, you coming?" Nat asked

"Hell no, I need to be here with the only one I have left" Jessie answered

"You should rest then" Nat said

"I can't" Jessie answered shaking her head. Nat sighed and walked to Bruce and whispered something to him, causing him to nod. He went into the lab then done something else before greeting Jess

"A hug before the trip?" Bruce requested

"Alright, be safe" Jessie said then felt the liquid travel in her. Slowly relaxing her to the point she was out on Bruce's shoulders. He carefully got Nat to help lay her down on the couch before they left.

3 days later

Jessie woke up frantically. She had blurred vision but saw all the wires attached to her, slowly pulling them off causing a loud flat lining sound. Nat, Steve and Bruce all ran in at once and they soon relaxed when they saw the Brunette sat up on the bed

"You little shit" Nat grumbled

"No, I wouldn't pull it out like... that" Bruce tried to warn as Jessie pulled out the IV drip and a small stream of blood appeared on her arm. Bruce walked over to her and quickly bandaged it up

"You drugged me... again" Jessie said

"That's what you get Jessie when you don't sleep or eat!" Nat stated

"Hmm... what happened to George!?" Jessie said bolting up and out, only to fall into Steve's arms as her unstable legs couldn't cope.

"Tony and Pepper have him, they moved out yesterday to a house they own" Steve said and gently picked her back up and put her on the bed

"Wait... did it work?" Jessie asked as Nat and Bruce left

"No" Steve whispered

"No hope for bringing Bucky back..." Jessie stated and Steve nodded sadly.
"Hey Steve" Jessie said and he looked at her

"What?" He asked and she smirked and kissed him

"Payback" Jessie whispered into his ear after she broke it off

"You are lucky I like you otherwise I would do this" Steve smirked at started to attack her neck with kisses.

"Steven, okay okay I get it" Jessie said trying to control herself.

"Huh... looks like Jessie's getting the treatment" Nat stated to Bruce as they looked through the window

"Sh-should we tell them that its open?" Bruce asked

"Nope" Nat laughed as she turned around looking back through the stuff.
