"Jada, c'mon we gotta focus," Alina persisted, grabbing the phone from the girl. With short straight brown hair, Jada became friends with Alina after meeting her in their English Literature class. The two had bonded over their shared hatred of their teacher, Mr. Smith.

He gave out tons of assignments and busywork. Even worse, he was unpredictable. Sometimes everyone in the class would earn an 80 on a paper with no explanation, signifying that he never read them, whereas other times he'd grade individually, providing harsh and critical comments.

The two college girls had a four-page paper that was assigned Friday due Monday night. Alina had sent Mr. Smith an email, wanting to clarify that she understood the prompt, but he never got back to her. What a shocker!

"I was just taking a break...for my health!" Jada pouted, widening her shockingly pure blue eyes at Alina. She extended her hand expectantly; however, Alina held it away from her.

"You were looking at Harry Styles pictures," Alina pointed out, raising an eyebrow. The two girls lounged across Alina's twin bed, their backs pressed against the wall and their legs dangling.

"Exactly," Jada responded plainly, a grin tugging on her lips.

"You're right. We deserve a break. I'll just send Mr. Smith another email that he probably will never open," Alina sighed, figuring she might as well go with what she had so far with her paper and just pray that the teacher would accept it.

The girls scrolled through photos of Harry, sharing their opinions and reactions. One specifically caught Jada's eye. It was a picture of the bare-chested singer wearing a black top hat, white suspenders, and tight pink cotton shorts.

"Wow. I don't know how to feel about that," Jada murmured, gazing at Harry in awe.

"Honestly, he looks like he's having a good time so I'm here for it," Alina giggled, zooming in on the man's stoic facial expression.

"Whatcha looking at?" A voice spoke from the doorway.

"Nothing!" Alina squeaked, handing Jada back her phone.

"No Hoods in class," the other girl joked, pointing to the hallway as Calum made his way inside the room.

"It doesn't look like this class is in session anymore," Calum rebutted as he sat on the chair by Alina's desk, gesturing a tan hand to the two laying on the bed.

"You just caught us at the wrong time. We were being productive," Jada protested, her eyes following Calum's hand as he raked it through his soft hair.

"You better have been because I don't want Alina crying to me saying she's too busy to go to the party. I won't let you have that excuse," Calum shook his finger at a sheepish Alina.

"What party?" Jada asked, turning to Alina with a curious glint in her blue eyes.

"Oh, we're going to this house party tonight. Nothing big. I mean you don't have to come if you don't want to, but do you want to?" Alina rambled, her voice rising in pitch as she got excited by the prospect of having more people she knew coming with her.

"I don't know if she can handle the C Dizzle Swizzle," Calum teased.

"Is that your stripper name because I can definitely handle it. Or is it your drag name?" Jada inquired, smiling at the boy playing with the pencils on Alina's table.

"No, that's Rai Mysterious."

"You've never told me that before," Alina gasped, offended by Calum's obvious betrayal.
