I sit in the car listening to my parents singing at the top of their lungs. I understand they are excited but I can't join in their joy, we're leaving England the only place I've ever know and felt happy in. Yes I enjoyed when we traveled for holidays but we've never been to America let alone the town of Seaford! I miss everything about England already and I literally just left. My little sister Jess is asleep and has been pretty much the whole day traveling for her must be exhausting. I sigh staring out at the building that are flying past me as we whiz by in our crappy little car. My brother James who is a year older than me punches my arm and says
"oi saddo, look there's a dojo over there after we finish packing we can join and I'll beat your sorry girly butt!" I roll my eyes before hitting him back and saying "your on but don't cry like a baby when I beat your stupid ass!" We start to play fight lightly hitting each other whilst giggling at the stupid comments that we were both throwing around.
"Right that's enough you two! Your being pathetic you both need to grow up!" My dad shouts over the music! We're silent for a brief moment before we both start to laugh I can see dads red face in the mirror but I continue to laugh with my brother. Then mum chimed
"Although I agree with your father,we are here so go unpack and I'll talk to you both later." And with that the race was on being the two older children it was a race to find the best room and to unpack first so you could keep that room. I unbuckle my belt and run straight for my stuff grabbing my bag and rushing up the stairs. Looking through several doors I finally find the best room and dump my bag in it before starting to unpack. After finishing with my bag I run to the moving van and start getting my boxes together. I finish placing them in my room and unpack a few bits and pieces. Before running off to find my brother and explore the rest of the house.
I open his door, his half unpacked same as me and before he can say anything I shout "race you to the dojo loser!" Before sprinting down the stairs grabbing my shoes and a jacket and opening the door my brother is hot on my heels and just as we get to the shopping center he over takes me shouting
"eat my dust!"
Before I can tell him to stop he falls head first into the fountain out side the dojo. Laughing I help him out and we walk to the dojo
"I can hear your feet squelching" I giggle only causing my brother to groan. And with that we take our first step into the dojo.
