a single question. why did you professor like handwritten assignments more than the printed ones? sighing at the thought that this night would be spent with major hand distress, you walked towards your table. roommate! seongmin was not around, maybe he was out with his friends or working on his portfolio by the lobby.

your eyes trailed from your table to his unfinished paintings which were all leaning on the wall by the empty corner. he was an art major, while you were a literature major.

as you were getting ready to do your book review, you noticed how thin your supply of copy paper had become. it was the type of paper your professor had initially instructed the class to use in each homework submission. even without you using it. every day, it was decreasing.

closing your eyes, a tight-lipped smile became visible in your countenance. did seongmin once again used your paper as his own sketch paper?

you shuffled towards his table to check his things. honestly, you don't have to go much deeper to his things for a new doodle was sitting just beside his pen holder. your suspicion was confirmed when you lifted his drawing. he used your paper again.

somewhat you wanted to get mad at seongmin for always using your paper, but then his sketches would immediately melt your irritation. the cute characters he would draw were something that brings joy to you. needless to say, you like each of his drawings.

the door clicked open and seongmin entered the room, he was hugging his sketchpad as usual.

"oh hey, y/n." there was a sheepish beam that decorated his lips. "i borrowed a sheet from you again."

your eyes met and you gave him a forced smile, nodding at his words. "i know. i can see that very well."
