Facing Fears

Zayns P.O.V
Last night just didn't feel right without Olivia sleeping beside me. I woke up hoping to see her sleeping face but all I saw was the other side of my bed untouched . I go into my bathroom to brush my teeth and make my hair look somewhat decent . After about 10 minutes I go downstairs to find the boys in the kitchen . Liam is frying eggs and bacon and Harry is pouring coffee for everyone . "Morning lads " I say gaining their attention . " Morning mate " Niall said ,patiently waiting for his food . " You want breakfast?" Liam asks flipping the bacon around . " Yes please, I'm starving " I say chuckling . He smiles and goes back to the food . " So bro , what's the plans for today?" Louis asks me . "Well we have to go to the studio today and then I'm thinking maybe go to the beach and just chill" I reply. " Sounds great " Liam says giving everyone their food. " Oh and what about Olivia , how is she" , Niall says before stuffing his mouth with the food . "She's great , I actually invited her to the studio today so I'll be a bit late because I have to pick her up " I say not realising that I have been smiling the whole time . I look up to see Harry giving me a death glare. " Zayn can I talk to you in the living room for a second please?" He says walking out of the kitchen . I put my fork down and follow him out to the living room . " Haz what's -" " Zayn you said nothing is going on between you and Olivia . Then why do you smile everytime her name is mentioned? Why do you always want her near you ? " He asks angrily . Haz I-I ... I don't know man ,I really don't know " I reply a bit shocked that he's so angry about this . " Just forget it Zayn , I'm gonna go for a drive , see you guys at the studio in an hour ." He said grabbing his keys and walking out the front door . I want to say something but realise that I have an hour to pick Olivia up . I rush back to my room and take a shower before changing and rushing out the door and to my car . As I get into the car, I send Olivia a message saying that I'll be there in 20 minutes , before driving off

Olivia P.O.V
Today started off as any normal day . Alexa waking me up early for no reason and just chilling with her .But I've been so excited to hang out at the studio with Zayn and the boys . I'm currently trying to find an outfit to wear . I settle on white shorts with a purple floral top and purple flats. I start applying makeup but get a text which interrupts me . I put the mascara down and grab my phone off my bed . It's a text from Zayn that says " Be there in 20 minutes . Can't wait to see you love ;) Zayn xx". I smile at the message before going back to doing my makeup . Twenty minutes later I hear a car pull up into the driveway and a knock on the door . Alexa opens the door as I make my way to the living room . As soon as Zayn sees me he smiles brightly . " You look beautiful as always " he says giving me a tight hug . " You don't look too bad yourself " I say making him blush . We say our goodbyes to Alexa and get to the studio within 15 minutes . Zayn parks the car and we both get out and head towards the door . Once inside he leads me down the hallways and into a room . As the door opens , Louis and Niall both jump on me , dropping me to the ground . " Olivia we missed you " Louis says pouting still on top of me . " Alright that's enough guys , let's not kill her " Zayn says chuckling and yanks them off me . He helps me up and I give all the boys a proper hug besides Harry who gives me a side hug again . " So boys, today we're going to be recording 'Last first kiss ' which Harry and Niall wrote over the past few days . Well done boys" the producer says shaking Harry's hand . Liam goes in first and the music starts

After Liam it's Zayns turn and he goes in and I find it impossible to look away .

Harry's P.O.V.
I'm sitting here watching Zayn sing his part and I just want the ground to swallow me whole . I turn to see Olivia staring at Zayn like he's best thing to ever walk the earth . Her eyes are sparkling and that smile just won't leave her face . Why can't she look at me like that. When we first met, I was the one who was nice to her , so how on earth did she fall for Zayn . She may not say it but I can tell she likes him and he likes her too . But I've got to talk to her . Maybe there's a chance that she likes me too. I guess maybe if I show her that I can give her a better time than Zayn , she'll date me instead of him . I guess I'll have to try something at the beach lat- " Harry get in there , it's your turn " my thoughts are interrupted by Liam calling me into the booth .

Olivia's P.O.V
After four hours of sitting here and watching the boys recording it's finally time to go . Not that I mind though , they have such beautiful voice . " Olivia we're gonna go to the beach for a while , is that alright ?" Zayn asks walking up to me . " Yep that's alright " I say smiling as he leads me towards the car . Liam is driving and this time Louis is in the passenger seat . Harry gets into the back first, then Niall , then Zayn . " Zayn where am I gonna sit ?" I asked confused . Zayn smiles and pats his lap and I hesitantly climb on top of him . The whole 20 minute drive to the beach the boys are shouting to their own songs that are being played and I just can't help but laugh at how silly they look . All except Harry . He doesn't join in at all , he has his eyes focused on the window next to him . We finally arrive at the beach and we all jump out . " I'll race you to the water Niall " Louis says to Niall with a smirk on his face . " You're on Tomlinson" . And with that they're both sprinting towards the water . Not even bothered to watch and see who wins , I just stand with my toes buried in the sand ,and my eyes closed enjoying the cool breeze . I feel something around my waist and look up to see Zayn smiling down at me . I smile and turn back around to look at the crystal blue water . Zayn wraps his hands tighter around me and puts his head on my shoulder . " The water looks so beautiful today " I say mesmerised by the gleaming water . " It's alright I guess, but I'm holding something even better " he says and kisses my cheek and runs off causing me to chase after him. Being so much taller and stronger than I am makes it impossible to run after him . " OKAY OKAY I GIVE UP. COME BACK ZAYN" I say out of breathe . He smirks and starts jogging back to me . We both walk back to the rest of the boys and Zayn goes to join them in the water . He doesn't go very deep in though , just dips his feet , I'm assuming it's because of his fear of water . I turn around to sit on the sand but to my surprise , I see Harry laying there  listening to music with his eyes closed . This boy really is acting strange . I sit next to him and face him , poking his stomach to try and make him laugh . He opens his eyes and smiles for what seems like the first time in days . " Harry are you okay ? You just seemed kind of down lately " I ask concerned . He looks at me for a second then looks away ." Yeah I'm fine thanks , enjoying the beach ?" He asks trying to change the topic . " Yeah I am , it's a beautiful day " I reply awkwardly . He opens his mouth to say something but is interrupted by Zayn " OLIVIA!!! HELPPP!!" He screams from the water . I got up faster than I ever have before , sprinting to the water. I see Zayn laying on the sand , eyes closed . I start to panic and drop beside him . "Zayn oh my god what happened?" I say trying to wake him up . He opens his eyes and smiles at me and I feel myself finally relax . " What the hell Zayn you scared the shit out of me " I say hitting his shoulder . "Sorry Sorry . Actually you know that I have a fear of water and the boys dared me to go as deep as them , so I was wondering if you would help me ?" he says giving me a puppy dog face that I just can't resist . " Of course I'll help you " I say as he gets up and helps me up too .I take his hand and lead him towards the water . Which is kinda difficult because it feels as if I'm dragging him . I stop at the a point where the water is up to my waist and turn around, shocked at what I see . Zayn is looking at the water , trembling with fear . I walk towards him and put his hand on my waist and he looks up at me as I put my hands over his larger ones . " Don't focus on the water Zayn , look at me and imagine that we're walking in the park like last time . Focus only on me okay ?" I say and he nods and grips my waist tighter . I walk backwards and he follows looking into my eyes until the water is up to our necks . The boys turn around and are shocked by what they're looking at . " Oh My God Olivia you did it !!! How did you - We've only ever been able to get him deep enough for the water to get to his knees !!" Louis screams surprised . Zayn snaps out of his trance and looks around and begins to panic . " Zayn I told you not to look at the water , look at me and pretend like we're not in the water " I say putting my hand up to his face and moving his hair out of his eyes . He calms down completely and hugs me before dragging me and the other boys back to shore . We all get into the car and sit like we were before . " Liv you coming home with me tonight love?" Zayn asks pleadingly. Niall clears his throat . " Oh right , I meant are you coming home with us " he laughs . "Yeah sure "I say and slap him playfully . " Oh and guys I have that date with Alexa tonight " Liam says smiling . " Oh yeah , can Liv and I help you get ready ?" Zayn asks excited . " Sure mate , just don't make me look ridiculous " he says laughing . " Can't promise Li"Zayn replies with a smirk . The rest of the car ride is silent as everyone is pretty much exhausted .
