When Y/N woke up, she could already feel North's eye on her, before she opened hers.

"G-Good morning," she stuttered, already blushing. "I didn't... think that you'd still be here." She had kind of expected the Countryhuman to run off to work to avoid the embarrassment of the dreaded morning after.

North raised his brow. "You don't really think I'd sleep with you, then run, do you?" he asked, irritably, then winced. "This is my room, anyways," he muttered, sitting up. "I'm getting breakfast. Do you want anything?"

Y/N stretched like a cat. "Don't I have work today?"

"Do you want to go?" He looked like he already knew the answer.

"Nnnnn." She flopped back down. "If I say 'no,' are you still going to go get breakfast?"

     "No."

"Then no." At his confused look, she reached up to grab his shoulders, pulling him back down on top of her.

When they finally did leave their bedroom, it was past noon.

Y/N walked down to the lobby, (H/C) hair still wet from her bath, and ran into South Pyongan and Ryanggang, who were drinking tea in the dining room.

"Well." South Pyongan smirked at her, giving her a once-over. "Look who's up."

      Y/N blushed. "I was... having a bath."

"Wat'r cannot wash away degen'racy," Ryanggang intoned, staring at the wall. "Or that bite mark."

Y/N flinched, slapping a hand over the crook of her neck. Despite North guiltily apologising for it again, and despite him telling her to cover it up, she still managed to pull her collar down the wrong way.

"I hope you used a condom." South Pyongan shook her head in mock disgrace.

"Countryhumans can't get a human pregnant," Y/N blurted, before slapping a hand over her mouth.

"How do you know?" the sporty province teased. "Done much experimenting?"

Y/N blushed heavily. "N-No, but wouldn't China have like, a million kids?"

South Pyongan burst out laughing, slapping the table. "Good one! I'm telling that to North Pyongan."

     "He won't laugh," Ryanggang sighed.

"Yeah, yeah." The female province waved her hand dismissively. "But he'll smile politely, and say, 'That's funny,' and sometimes that's all you need from your brother."

"Well, Y/N," Ryanggang said, standing up. "If yer done rollin' around in the hay-" He silenced her protest with the wave of his green hand. "You want to come help me in the garden?"

Y/N blinked in surprise. "S-Sure?" North had already left for a meeting, along with the food that she had forced him to take.

She followed Ryanggang out to the rows of flowers lining the high-rise parking lot.

"So, did you plant all of these yourself?" she asked, and the green-skinned province nodded.

"Ay-uh. When we first built this place, Korea said it needed to look nice." He picked up a watering can. "So I planted some flow'rs to give it colour."

"'Appearances are half of the battle,'" she quoted, and Ryanggang nodded.

"Sometimes the gard'ners help, but mostly it's just me." Y/N followed his direction, filling the watering cans from a spigot. "I plant 'em, water 'em, sing to 'em-"
