Max woke up to Iris shifting around between her and Lexi, only opening her eyes when Iris started whining. Max couldn't help but smile as Iris tugged on her diaper that clearly needed changed.
"Good morning peanut. How are you feeling?" ask Max looking down and Iris who just whined again pulling more on her diaper.
"Can you tell me what you want peanut?" asked Max, she knew exactly what Iris wanted but really wanted to get Iris comfortable with asking for things herself.
"P'ease off" said Iris pulling at her diaper again making at Max sigh slightly. She knew the odds of Iris continuing to call her Dada after last nights events were slim, given that Iris was in such an emotional state but that didn't mean she didn't hope for it. Not getting a reply right away because Iris to whine again before giving a quiet 'p'ease Dada' causing Max's heart just skipped a beat.
"Of course baby girl" said in Max picking her up immediately and taking her to get changed. Max couldn't help but tickle her tummy as she applied the baby powder enticing giggles from her little mate as she taped her diaper closed and claimed her to be all clean. Max's chuckles were cut short as Lexi scrambled into the nursery clearly panicked having walking up alone. Sighing in relief at seeing her mates Lexi walked over to the two a smile forming on her face as Iris saw here and exclaimed,
"Mama 'll c'ean" Iris explained copying Max's previous comment.
"I see that baby. Now how about we get some food?" Lexi said overly excited at Iris calling her mama still
"No 'ood" exclaimed Iris shaking her head and confusing Max and Lexi.
"Aren't you hungry bug?" asked Lexi pulling out an outfit for Iris, it was a simple soft yellow shirt with green writing saying 'this monster wants cuddles' along with some black sweatpants. Max left to get changed leaving Lexi to get Iris ready, just contemplating why Iris suddenly didn't want food. She didn't have much time to dwell on it as Lexi and Iris entered the room setting Iris on the bed with Max. Snuggling into Max Iris watched as Lexi got dressed, Max chuckling when she noticed Iris staring at a now naked Lexi, a blush rose on her cheeks at Max's chuckle and Lexi smiled at her before dressing causing hers to bury her face into Max's chest.
Just as Lexi finish dressing a similar outfit as a Max consisting of black skinny jeans and a tank top, a knock on the door came before Heather walked in.
"How is my grand-baby? Is she feeling better?" ask Heather looking from her daughters to Iris.
"Well she hasn't puked since last night" said Lexi sitting down beside her mates.
