Chapter 25: The Genie's Lamp And The Palace Of Prophecy

I was busy checking the orange sky since it's already sunset while I study the Southern Cross. Today, my necklace lead me here in a place called 'Agrabah'. It says that the my favorite cross constellation can be seen close in this place, but I told myself... "I always spot the Southern Cross at the sky from every place I go..."

Alone in the night sky

I hummed that song while writing all the things I know about the Southern Cross. I found out staying at Sky Joker is boring so I left and went here in Agrabah. I don't know why, but this is my first time studying about it.

Grandfather never let me go in a place called 'library' so I know nothing about the stars, but I did discover them by myself. I heard that there's a genie here before. First, what's a 'Genie'? I never heard of it...

Suddenly, I bump into someone that cause me to drop my items that made me I gasp.

"Hey, watch it..." the person said before I kneel down and grab my things. "A thousand a-apologies... I didn't know where I was g-going..." I said frantically before he sigh.

"Here, just... let me help..." he said softly as he bend in my level and help me out without giving each other glances. "Southern Cross... you're interested on that?" He ask, quite surprised before I hummed in response.

"Absolutely. I have been studying it just yesterday... And I really love it from all the stars I know..." I said as we both stood up before he give my other papers back. "Thank you for helping me! I appreciate it... Again, sorry for bumping into you..." I said before I walk away without giving that guy a glance.

"It's alright and your welcome. Bye miss..." he said before he left as well. Well, he seems to sounds like a sweet boy... I thought before I softly yawn in a whisper.

"I'm sleepy and tired... Still, I better go..." I mumble before I continue humming that song. After some times, the sun left the sky so I decided to go to another 'castle' people call this days. Gee, I can't believe it still exist. I thought all I'm gonna see are the city.

"Halt! No one is permitted to pass! What's your business here?!" A guard ask rudely.

"I came from another country... The question is...'What am I doing here?' Ichi, for the 'Genie's Festival' you guys called. Ni, to learn more about Agrabah. San, to know if the stories are real..." I stated innocently.
