This story has been fun. It started off as something without a plot, but grew into something much more because of all of you. I apologize for the ending, but I never guaranteed we would have a happy, "good" ending. Sometimes, life is too fucked up for that. I couldn't give this story an ending, more like a resolve, a conclusion to this plot line. Our characters still have UA to get through, and hero work, their lives don't end because this is the last chapter.
And anyways, this book was built on angst, I couldn't end it with fluff without it feeling unearned. It needed to be satisfying, if a bit heart breaking. Also, I compared Aka to Oboro enough times for it to become a theme, so don't say her death came out of nowhere...
