The alarm goes off and the first thing Yeonjun feels is his stiff back and neck from sleeping in an uncomfortable position all night.
He blinks his eyes and later notices the numbers in red on the clock which shows 06:30. He has an hour to get ready.
Just as he wanders his hand beside him, he notices the empty bed. He rolls over the empty side and sighs. Soobin must have been early to work.. again.
It has been like this for six months now. Yeonjun is used to wake up to an empty bed, with his boyfriend of three years nowhere to be seen.
No goodbye, no note, not even a forehead kiss. This has always put Yeonjun off for the day a bit, and today is also the same.
Nonetheless, he has to go for work, carry on with his chores. That is how life went on. So despite his anxiety and the heaviness in his heart, he gets ready to work and leaves.
