Unknowns POV:
"Garrett get me a file on Luke Lin please."
I gruffly ask one of the guards near my door.
Man why do I have to be so nosey.
"Ace have you finished those reports yet? Your dad has been hounding me about them since last Tuesday." I look up to see my best man Eric.
"No I've been a little busy recently." I shrug him off. But then it connects in my mind. "Why does it matter to him?" Dad handed over his company to me as soon as I got out of high school which was 3 years ago. So why all of a sudden is he hounding me about my work ethic?
"He wants to make a deal with another company. But he needs those reports done so that he can use them to show as proof of our work ethic." I raise my eyebrow. A deal? He's trying to make a deal with another company for me?
"It's not his place to making those decisions, why is he trying to make a deal with them?"
At this point Eric seems to start to sweat a little.
"Well its a deal with the Wrens."
My eyes shoot open wide. Dad wants to make a deal with our biggest rivals? How did he even achieve that? "But there's a little uhm thing that makes it a solid deal."
"And what's that?" He looked at me sheepishly.
