Leon's POV

Alright today is Y/n's birthday, I have to make her feel as special as I can and make her enjoy her birthday.
I bought her her f/c, party decorations, hot chocolate packs for later, flowers, and a confession.
I've gotta wait for Y/n to get back home.
While waiting I put up the party decorations, set the cake and flowers on the table and started pumping myself up for the confession.
Just a couple more minutes until she comes back.

Your POV

I have had it with today!
I can't anymore!
First of all I just got fired!
Second, I worked my ass off super hard today just to get fired in the end!
Third, it's my birthday!
Fourth!
Fourth.....Leon probably forgot....
I started rushing home. I wanted to cry, I wanted to cry so badly!
I opened the door and shut it closed.
I curled up and started crying.
I don't know what I'm going to do anymore...
"Surprise, oh.. Y/n are you okay? What happened?"
He sat down beside me.
"*sniff* I-i was fired today and-"
"WHAT?!"
I was startled a little.
"Oh sorry...."
I continued.
"And I worked really hard today...I don't know what to do anymore.."
Leon hugged me and it felt like the world was disappearing.
Like nothing matters but him.
I wiped my tears away and hugged him.
"Come on I have a surprise!"
He grabbed my hand and led me to the kitchen.
"Happy birthday Y/n!"
He handed me a bouquet of roses.
While I was admiring them he poked my shoulder.
I turned around and saw my f/c on the table, streamers and a banner with 'happy birthday!' on it.
I gasped and I felt like crying all over again.
"W-why are you crying? Did I forget something?"
He started checking but I just hugged him once more.
"No silly, I'm crying cause I thought you forgot."
"Y/n, I would never forget about you."
"But what about that time when-"
"Forget that, Y/n I-i love you. I love you so much I wouldn't be able to function without you."
I was shocked but happy that Leon actually likes me back.
"Leon I love you too."
He leaned in closer inches away until I closed that space.
We shared a passionate kiss while little tears we're streaming down my face.
"I love you too much Leon don't you ever forget that."
He smiled and I smiled back.
"Come on lets eat that cake before it goes bad just sitting there."
We laughed and enjoyed the cake.
Maybe today isn't that bad but still.

Leon's POV

OMG OMG OMG OMG
Y/N LIKES ME BACK!!!
This feels like a dream come true!
I just hope that I can help her find a better job.
But for now let me let her enjoy her birthday.
When we ate like half the cake I put the cake in the fridge and asked Y/n what movie we should watch.
We watched y/fm and cuddled on the couch. I grabbed some blankets and wrapped ourselves with them.
Halfway through the movie I paused it.
"Hey, why'd you do that for?"
"I'm making hot chocolate!"
I shaked the chocolatey pouches while boiling some milk.
"Oh sorry."
"It's fine I get it."
Once finished I put some extra marshmallows in each mug.
"Be careful darling~"
She blushed a bit while grabbing her hot chocolate.
I sat down enwrapping myself back into the little cocoon of blankets and resumed the movie.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"For everything you've done for me what do mean for what?"
I chuckled and kissed her forehead.
I promise to take care of you, love you, and give you my everything until the day I die.
I promise.

Sorry for not updating the story for how long has it been?
But I promise the new chapter will come out I just need a bit more time.
