Immediately being rushed to the hospital, I was hooked up to several cables, and machines. Though I was asleep for most of this, through chatter, I was in surgery for bullet removal. "y/n is lucky, the bullet nearly went near their heart." I overheard from a nurse, followed by the sound of beeping from my heart moniter. Rhythmic.

I was greeted by both my brother and my boyfriend. Cal held my hand and smiled gentle while Megamind used my hand to caress his face, his eyes swollen from crying. "They said i would be alright." I tried to highten the obviously dampened mood, but Cals smile faltered.
"I see there's a difference in our powers. You aren't.. Immune to attacks." He began,  looking to Megamind, then back towards me. "You need to be under protection, you can't go about for a bit till it's safe."
I sat up in the bed and rested on my forearms, groaning at the movement. "I'm good, it may have been a lucky shot but I'm sure I'll be alright, I mean.." I wasn't quite sure as to what to say and quickly changed the subject. "Megamind, dear, did you bring the guy that shot me?"
He perked up and nodded, quickly taking out a blue cube. I grabbed the bottled water beside me at the table and poured water on it, flicking the cube at the corner away from everyone and the door.
"What are you doing Y/N?" Megamind was obviously nervous, angry even.
"Its alright, just some questioning."

As the cube began to shape into the person, the Burly man, Cal towered over him as a test in intimidation.
Immediatly the burly man cowered down. "M-metro man?"
"What is your name?" He didn't bother with greetings.
"Why would I tell you?" The burly man was smug, crossing his arms like he was gonna win a fight until he felt a strong tightness around his throat.
"I. Said. Name."
"J-john Tygen!" He said raspily, and Cal removed his hand.
"If you continue to comply, your sentence won't be as terrible."

"Who sent you?" Megamind piped up, and John shot a glance to him. "I disclose nothing without my lawyer."
Megamind walked over and held the dehydration gun to John's forehead. It looked real enough to freak out John, seeing as he didnt know what it did exactly.
John raided his hands up. "I- i don't know! I got a call and he said to kill them." He pointed to me on the bed.
"Do you know how he sounded?"
"Uh.. Geeky I guess! Look there all i know! Please, lets settle this like adults and put the gun down!"

This didn't go well, as soon as Megamind put the gun down John smacked it from his hand and fled off.
"Leave him, if he rises problems again we can go look for him-" I coughed up blood, and gripped at by chest, hacking in pain.

"Y/N!" Megamind yelled, running to him. Cal quickly left to get a nurse.
"It- it hurts!" I cringed, opening the hospital gown enough to show my chest. There was bandage in the way, but it didn't need to be moved to see where the problem was. There was sickening black veins running from where the wound was all around my body, which caused Megamind to gasp.
"What.. What is this?" Megamind moved the bandage a bit to see the wound pulsating, the skin around it quickly decaying. The moniter began beeping rapidly with multiple declines of silence followed by more repetitive quick beeping of an irregular heartbeat. 
Cal came back with a nurse, catching me screaming and clawing at my chest in pain, tears streaming down and blackish blood at my fingertips. The nurse quickly tried stabilizing myself but was unsure of what to do. The decay quickly started spreading throughout my body, i felt my skin burning up. Cal and Megamind were confused and distraught, but knew that I was on the mere brink of death.
"I have an idea!" Called Megamind. He quickly picked up the dehydration gun and pointed it at me.

It went pitch black.
