Let's just say, this morning was by far the strangest thing I have ever seen. It was just supposed to be me walking to my college and sitting in class, only to leave by the end of my schedule and go home, do some extra work, and sleep.
But that is not what happened in the slightest.

It was the second quarter, myself being in Psychology when out of nowhere there was a thunderstorm. My professor had called class out early so we could catch up on work and stay safe within our dorms, which was nice if I had actual stuff to do. Believe it or not, I was quite inclined to stay in class and learn new material, but I got up anyway, grabbing my things and heading home.

The lightning didn't seem anywhere close, due to the spaces of sound between each boom of thunder. It started to rain, then, which was not the greatest. I had to walk several streets home, and due to the weather report originally to be sunny during spring this week I hadn't thought to bring the one thing I needed, and umbrella - big mistake.

Listening to the bitter patter of the rain hitting the hoodie I had on, feeling cold small spots on my arms as the water started to filter in, even the clump of my tennis shoes hitting the concrete sidewalk, but it was nice. Even if I hadn't wanted to become so soaked with rain it wasn't terrible, it was quite enjoyable. I had loved the rain. Listening to the it, walking home with no one near to bug me-

There was a good boom, and immediately I jumped, seeing the ground become nearer and nearer till flesh met concrete. I landed with a grunt, feeling something heavy atop me, said object having shoved and fallen onto me upon the ground. "What the hell!" I turn and (eye color) meets green. My eyes glance all around at whatever it was I'm looking at. Green, blue, black, what exactly was it that I was looking at?

"(Y/n)?"
I quickly pushed off the body and scooted away. "What-" I felt at a loss of words. The thing looked human, except for the bulbous head, and it... It knew my name. "What are you?" I stood up, clutching my backpack which had fallen off from the hit, and stuck it to my chest like a shield.

He gazed blankly before looking around haphazardly, obviously full of paranoia. "Do you not.. It worked!" His sentence started off calm before becoming loud with excitement. "Listen, I need your help!"

I looked in disgust, I was not to help someone I had never met with something I didn't even know. He was a stranger, a blue one at that. I took a step back, but he must have not noticed as he took a step closer.
His eyes, there's something about his eyes.

"(Y/n)? Is everything alright?"

I took another step back. They were no longer a green color of iris but black, and his skin was a sickening pale, and his jaw was no longer on the hinges, swinging loosely as if the only thing keeping it in place was the flesh around it, though it was rotting.
Feeling my heart beat jump from my chest erratically, I turned, afraid, and ran.
