Arya's PoV~

In two days, I was able to get to the edge of Deadcester Forest, about five miles from the border of Nightstar.

I'm in extreme pain and my wolf can't do anything about it.

The wound has become infected but there wasn't anything I could do. The bear trap is still cramped down on my flesh.

Theia has tried everything, but the lack of mate bond has been her main focus. King Archer's jacket was helping her as much as it could, but she needs him. I need him.

My entire body felt like it was on fire and I knew I had a high fever.

My plan was to push my body to get to Nightstar tonight, but the weather wasn't on my side, at all.

I clenched the jacket and brought it up to my nose as I looked up at the sky. It was early morning and it was already snowing. And I haven't seen any rogues.

If there aren't any rogues out, you know you need to prepare for some bad weather.

When the snow started to cover the ground until I couldn't see it, I decided to ignore the pain and try to walk faster.

I tried to eat, to give myself more energy, but I couldn't keep anything down. I couldn't even sleep without jumping from pain every few seconds.

But I had to get to Nightstar. Bella and Joel will help me. And hopefully, dear goddess, King Archer is still there.

It was midday and I more than halfway. I could sense wolves within a mile but didn't bother hiding my scent.

I was dragging my leg, which was the best options for me. I took some breaks, to try and eat, but I had the same result as before.

As my leg began to go numb again, I took another small break. I laid my body against the closest tree as I attempted to even my breathing.

Theia remained silent.

I could sense the wolves getting closer but couldn't tell how many there were. Two, maybe three. I made sure my hand was free in case I needed to use it.

Their voices filled the air a second later, a male and a female. Only two but could I take them both? I could hardly breath without wincing.

I saw them walking over cautiously. They were both around my age and very muscular. Definitely warriors of some sort. And they reeked of Nightstar.

"Stay back." I growled out in both fear and pain.

They didn't listen and got closer.

Usually, I would send a spark to scare them away. But I needed to save whatever energy I still had. They don't know that though, so I still lifted my hand threateningly.

"Arya?" The female asked. I've never seen her face so she shouldn't know my name, but I did tell Bella.

Did she send them?

"I said stay back." I growled again but they continued to come closer with their hands raised.

"We were sent to help you. Just let us help you." The male said slowly.

I growled again. Their eyes went to my leg, knowing I couldn't do much.

"Mind link Alpha Joel." I heard the male whisper to the female. She nodded before her eyes unfocused.

"He'll be here soon with Luna Bella." She whispered back after a few more seconds, as if I couldn't hear her.

They stayed where they were, not advancing any further. They continued to glance between my leg and my free hand.
