Noah pov

"Why do you look like Sam when you take his book from him" Eli asked at the same time a throw pillow came crashing on his head

"Hey!" Elijah hissed at Sam who was snickering while reading a book

"But he have a reason why are you upset on your birthday you even got a day off your job" Sam said while closing his book

His words made me shrink deeper on our new couch that was bought with my salary because we were desperate for a new one

"Ohh" Eli smirked his evil one, making me groan

He found out

"You wanted to spend time with 'your princess'." Eli said making a quotation mark on his last word

It's  been one week since I found out about Cataleya's illness and everything became clear

And since that day all I talk about is her

Elijah still didn't apologise to her but he has his reason and I won't ask for him to  forget about what the women in his family did and change his mind and like Cataleya because that honestly isn't my place

He will find a good girl that will change these thoughts

Just like Cataleya made me learn that not all rich girls are snobs and dumb

"I was talking to her yesterday wanting to ask her to spend time with me today but my dumb self just told her 'tomorrow is my birthday' and I didn't say anything else forgetting she wasn't friends with the hidden meanings, so she thought that I wanted the day off" I groaned and sank more into the coach

Making my dumb best friend and brother laugh at me

"Sam baby your brother doesn't love us anymore" Eli changed his voice in a high pitched one while putting his hand on his heart for a dramatic effect

"He isn't content with our simple birthday movie marathon" he said and while acting like he was fainting on Sam

Who should I say is more interested in his book than my stupid friend

"Let's just get over with it" I waved my hand to him so he could put the first movie when mum came with bowls of popcorn and a big smile on her face

I missed Cataleya

I wished she could be here

Me and my dumb brain

She was just looking absolutely breath taking in a red casual dress that made my brain stop and my words got stuck in my throat when I looked in her doe eyes that made my knees weak

"I will throw up if you don't eliminate that sick puppy love eyes from your face" Eli said with a mouthful of popcorn

Making my mother laugh and I blushed deeply

"It's your fault you didn't tell her it would be better if you didn't tell her it's your birthday at least you would be with her now" my mum said giggling making me glare playfully at her

I put my head on my mother's lap and my legs on my brother's lap who glared at me and when he was about to push them off I said with a smirk "I am the birthday boy" he sighed but didn't do anything else

We put the first film Divergent and with that our day begun

At 11:00 p.m. we have finished so many bowls of popcorn that we couldn't count and what sounds like million films and a birthday song we were ready to call it a day

"Happy birthday my baby" My mother said while kissing my cheeks followed by my brother who gave me a bro hug

"Happy birthday N" Eli patted my head and threw me a small box rapped by a red paper
