"Wait, so she went to club yesterday", I'm still half asleep but I hear Noah's voice.

Where am -

Oh right, the club and Alex and everything.

Shit.

I pretend to be asleep because I don't want to draw attention to myself, and also because I want to listen in on this.

I'm kinda curious, he never tells me anything about his work.

So now's pretty much the only chance I'll get.

"Yeah, then there was this shady guy there with her, I think Alex?" I hear Aiden's voice reply back.

Wait,

Alex's not suspicious! Yeah sure he needs to pick better friends but he's not suspicious.

And I'm not one to judge because I'm friends with gang members.

And why is Aiden even telling Noah all of this.

Okay, this has nothing to do with his gang. I'm going to 'wake' up now.

I groan sitting up from the soft mattress and see them visibly tense as I do so.

I feign clueless and frown staring at them.

"What are you doing here?" I ask, reaching for my head and groaning.

The headaches not fake, I really can't hold my liquor as I used to, I didn't even drink much last night. Alex handed me a drink the bartender made.

It was like the size of a shot glass.

So why is one stupid shit affecting me, like a whole bottle would.

Noah relaxes a bit and clears his throat, putting his hands in his pocket while Aiden speaks.

"Don't you remember? The shady club you were at?" He questions sarcastically raising an eyebrow in defense.

Dick.

"Oh, yeah, of course I do, and the club wasn't shady, shut up" I sigh, making a sound of displeasure as I stand up, stretching, I'm still wearing my hoodie and jeans from last night and I feel worn out.

I should take a shower.

Wait before that...

"Where's my phone?" I ask Aiden, searching my back pockets and realising it's not there.

"Uh downstairs, Noah was having difficulty carrying you, so he took it out of your pocket",

Noah ca-

Carried me??

I blush deeply and leave the room.

Why am I blushing this isn't the first time he's carried me.

Get a grip, Ari.

I walk down the familiar huge house and enter the lounge area, spotting my phone on the table and picking it up.

I got a few messages from Alex on he'll meet up with me later, and we'll catch up.

I sigh, ignoring the messages and scrolling away, I'm really not ready to socialise, and this headache is making things worse.

"So who's this Alex person?", I jump a bit as I hear Noah voice behind me.

I turn around placing my phone in my back pocket, looking at him standing on that last step of the stair case, looking down at me.

"A friend." I reply simply, walking past him to the kitchen.

I notice from the corner of my eye that he walks behind me, following.
