Chapter 17

Shay's POV

These past few months have been pretty crazy. I was in the studio with Joe almost everyday. He did an amazing job helping me with my record. I couldn't have asked for a better producer. Something's we didn't agree with, but I tried to not let it bother me.

"Shannon that was great! I think the fans will love this song!" He got up from his seat and hugged me as I walked out of the booth.

"Fans?" I asked laughing. "What makes you think I have fans? My music hasn't been released yet."

"Oh you'll be surprised," he said winking. "By the way you have a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest today. Are you ready to release your new single?"

"You mean singles? We talked about me releasing three," I said taking his seat. He walked over to me then leaned on the music board.

"Yeah, I was thinking that over..I don't think that'll be a good idea to release three at once."

"But they're mine songs. And those three go together and you-"

"You didn't let me finish. I was going to say that we should pace them out. Let each song have it's moment to be heard and recognized." I nodded my head in agreement. He's right, they each should have its chance. I stood up and hugged Joe as I grabbed my purse.

"Shall we get going?" I asked linking arms with him. He smiled and nodded. So with that we were off.

Nick's POV

"Babe what would you like for breakfast?" I heard Olivia yelling from the kitchen. I quickly threw on a shirt while walking in.

"Anything is fine with me baby girl," I said moving her hair out of the way then kissing her forehead. She looked down and laughed.

"Are we trying a new style here?" I looked down and realized I forgot my pants. So there I stood in my Kelvin briefs. My cheeks flustered a shade of red.

"Oh, I um..uh..I." She laughed once again then kissed my cheek.

"Don't worry about it. I have some of your pants in the dryer. They should be done in a little bit."

"Are you giving permission for me to walk around in my underwear?" I smirked wrapping my arms around her.

"Just until your pants are clean," she smirked back. "Now go sit down and let me start breakfast." I gave her a quick kiss then sat at the island. "Babe, could you turn on the radio?" I reached over and turned it on then moved it back to it's spot.

"Good morning New York! What a beautiful morning we're having today. Speaking of beautiful, we have a guest who's eager to show off her new music. She's been on quite the rocky ride these past few years. And I can't wait to get to her soon. That what's coming up next." Ryan's voice filled my kitchen until, "Stay With Me" took his place.

"Hey! That's our song!" I said excitedly. Olivia turned around and we both began to sing our hearts out. As we sung my mind began to wonder who this new artist is. I've always enjoyed getting to know them and their music.

"And we're back! Now, I told you about our special guest earlier. Well she's here and ready for you to hear her smashing single. I heard it just the other day and I have to say. I believe this will be the next song blowing up the charts. So Nick Jonas you better be prepared for this one." I laughed after hearing Ryan say that. You gotta love him.
"Let's give a warm welcoming to Shannon Werle!" Wait what who? Olivia looked back at me while I sat there frozen. I was not expecting that.
