Human AU

(Janus' POV)

"This is ssssooooo bbboooorrring!" Remus complained once again and flops backwards on the bed.

"Just shut up and finish studying!" I yell back, rubbing my temples.

How the hell did this happen! I told myself when I moved into the dorms that I wasn't here to make friends! I just wanted to keep my head down, finish my studies and graduate!

But Remus had to be so god damn persistent!

The plan was to ignore my roommate.

"Hiya new Roomie!"

But apparently that wasn't a option.

"My name's Remus! What's your name?"

As soon as I walk into my new dorm I am greeted by a loud, obnoxious voice.

"...Janus."

"Pfft! Like Janice-Ian in mean girls?"

I roll my eyes as I start unloading my suite case.

"I bet you get that a lot, huh?"

I ignore him. He'll give up eventually.

He didn't.

We kept running into each other, first it was the dorm, then it was classes and he just kept following me! I thought he would leave me alone after the first semester but he kept at it.

"Hey roomie! How was your break?" Remus asks. He's hang by his legs off the top bunk again.

"..."

"Cool! My brother was so annoying! I-"

"Can't you every shut up! I don't want friends! I just wanna focus on studying!" I yell, I finally snapped.

He went silent.

He left me alone for awhile after that. Then out of nowhere I came back to him crying.

I unlock the dorm to see Remus in a corner.

"What are you doing?"

He looks startled by my presence but he quickly turns away.

"What do you care?"

"I- are you crying?"

"M-maybe...."

I sigh but go and sit next to him.

"What happened?"

He looks conflicted before he starts talking.

"No matter what I do, I'm never enough compared to my 'perfect' twin brother. I tried really hard to get good grades but it didn't work."

I'mgonnaregretthisI'mgonnaregretthis-

"Do you want to study with me?"

He finally broke me. It started out with helping him studying, then he roped me into hang out. It's not to bad, have a friend I mean. He's still annoying.... but not as much.

But right now he's being an ass!

This was one of those times when he refuses to study. It's extremely difficult to focus as he complains!
