I am currently thinking of ideas for one of my other stories. I just really wanted to let you all know. Do not use my stories as workout information. 

I enjoy exercise and running, but I am not a personal trainer. Even personal trainers can be wrong. And I have been wrong a lot. Just talk to a personal trainer, physical therapist, or doctor for important gym questions. The main character in this story has worked up to his level since he was ten. Do not throw yourself into this training as a beginner.

Performing thousands of reps of calisthenics daily with no build up can and probably will cause tendonitis and overuse injuries. Calisthenics do increase blood flow to the tendons, but thousands of reps as a beginner will hurt you. I also learned that static stretching before a workout weakens the muscles, and since the muscles aren't warmed up they are more prone to tearing and injury. Dynamic stretches such as jumping jacks and jogging in place are better for the beginning of a workout.

Just don't think I'm some all knowing master of exercise. You probably didn't, but just to be sure. Thank you. I'm gonna try and work on my stories more. Peace
