Tayler drove us to a really sweet little coffee shop which was pretty much empty other than an old couple and a student doing work on a laptop. We sat next to the window and decided what to order.
Waitress: hey guys I'm annie and I'll be your waitress for today! What can I get you?
I saw tayler check her out which kinda upset me since we were on a date but I brushed it off.
T: hi I'm tayler uh can I please get an iced caramel latte and a slice of chocolate cake?
He winked after he ordered which really confused me since I was his date and he hadn't even taken any notice of me since annie came over.
R: um hi I'm rosie, could I please get a hot chocolate and a chocolate chip cookie
Waitress: of course
She glared at me and walked away to get our drinks and food.
T: so rosie how come you live at the sway house?
I tensed, I cant tell him.
R: uh i- i have a complicated family and jaden offered for me to stay there for a while
T: that's nice of him
He seemed bothered by my answer
T: how long have you known jaden then? You seem close
R: I actually only met him the other day but we became best friends super fast
T: cool. are you close with the other boys?
R: me and Bryce have like a brother sister relationship so were pretty close and the others are really nice guys
T: yeah they're pretty cool dudes
We talked for a while and then annie came back with our food and drinks
Annie: here you are guys!
She passed tayler his stuff and also slipped him a note with her number on it which he slipped in his pocket. This bothered me since we were supposed to be on a date.
She then passed me my food
Annie: enjoy!
She said with a fake smile
T: shes seems nice
R: mhm
T: you okay?
R: yep
I decided to just enjoy the rest of the date and worry about it later
We talked and ate for about 1 more hour until it was around 2:30 and my phone went off
Bryce
Hey rosie, its 2:30 and you said you'd be back by 2. Not tryna ruin your date but just checking you are safe! Let me know if you need a ride home x
Rosie
Hey bryce sorry I didnt realise the time, tayler will drop me home but I'll see you soon! x
Read 2:37pm
R: that was bryce, I told him I'd be home by 2 so he was worried. Do you mind dropping me home?
T: no of course I'll drop you home, let me just pay for our stuff and we can leave.
I started to get my purse out
T: hey hey! it's on me
He flashed me a gorgeous smile
R: are you sure?
T: definitely
He went to pay and then we left and he drove me home...
