We all have a vision on how we want our lives to be. We all put paint in our lives, sometimes green, sometimes blue many times grey. But all we ever do navigate our landscape to our ideal.

Writers paint not only their own lives, but paint others as well. Words are their paint. They put out their words for others to read, think. Essentially painting their readers paintings as well.

A poem celebrating spirit of writing

-----

My pen scratches on sheets
Scribbling the scenes
Painting the picture
On the canvas of lines
My colours are the words
And my brush is this pen
My painting is the poem
And trees are these sentence
These words are the mountains
These words are the valleys
The flow is the river
And imagination is the sun to me
Still painting the same scenery
From the times I was a child
Still, my paints get smugged
And the imperfections are all over
But, that what makes it worthwhile
For the painting is still nigh
I still keep on painting
Until everything feels alright
