After the act with Maui, Stardust was helping Lumire get ready for his. To the alicorn's relief, he wasn't gonna be in this one. However, the interview with Mickey was going to be after Lumire's song.

Stardust: Lumire. You're on after the next cartoon.

Lumire: Ah, thank you, Monsiour Stardust.

Stardust went back to his dressing room, where he was getting ready for his interview with Mickey.

After the final cartoon, which featured Pluto going on a wild goose chase for a bouncing ball. Mickey begins to intoduce Lumire's act.

Mickey: And now, as a way to welcome the new toons here to the House of Mouse. I'd like to introduce an old friend of mine, who will be performing a musical number, that was also staged by my own newest employee, Stardust Glitter. Please welcome, Lumire.

The audience claps as Mickey exits stage, right and the spotlight turns to Lumire, as he begins.

Lumire:

And now my friends, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight

And now! We invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents... your dinner

Some of the new toons were fasinated by the candlestick and the moving and talking silverware. Let alone hearing that Stardust had put this all together last minute. But decided not to overthink it as Lumire started singing.

Lumire:

Tie your napkin around your necks, friends and we provide the rest

Soup du jour  hot hors d'oeuvres

At that moment, plates, spoons and forks came spinning in singing.

They can sing, they can dance after all, this is France

And the dinner here is never second best

Go on, unfold your menu. Take a glance and then

Suddenly different types of foods come out to various guest tables.

Beef ragout, cheese souffle, pie and pudding "en flambe"

We'll prepare and serve with flair a culinary cabaret

You're alone and your scared but the banquet's all prepared

No-one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining

We tell jokes I do tricks with my fellow candlesticks

And that's all in perfect taste that you can bet

Come on and lift your glass, you've won your own free pass to be our guests

If you're stressed it's fine dining we suggest

Then a blue light shines onto Cogsworth who accidently got mixed onto the stage.

Life is so unnerving, for a servant who's not serving

He's not whole without a soul to wait upon

Ah, those good old days when we were useful...

Suddenly those good old days sre gone

Ten years we've been rusting, needing so much more than dusting

Needing exercise, a chance to use our skills, most days we just lay around the castle

Flabby, fat ad lazy you all walked in and oops-a-daisy!

Lumire finishes his part by launching Cogsworth who was trapped in a gelatin mold, then it was Mrs. Potts turn for the spotlight.

Mrs. Potts:

It's new guests, it's new guests

Sakes alive, well I'll be blessed

Wine's been poured and thank the Lord I've had napkins freshly pressed

With dessert, some'll want tea

And my dears that's fine with me

While the cups do their soft shoeing, I'll be bubbling, I'll be brewing

I'll get warm, piping hot

Heaven's sakes! is that a spot? Clean it up! We want the company imressed

We've got a lot to do is it one lump or two for you, our guests

They're our guests, they're our guests they're our guests

After Mrs. Potts, it was the chorus's turn.

Chorus:

Be our guests be our guests our command is your request

It's ten years since we had anybody here and we're obsessed

With your meal, with your ease

Yes, indeed, we aim to please

While the candelight's still glowing

Let us help you we'll keep going

For the finale of Lumire's act, he decides to finish it off strong.

Lumire:

Course by course, one by one

Till you shout "Enough, I'm done!"

Then we'll sing you off to sleep as you digest

Tonight you'll prop your feet up, but for now, let's eat up

Please, be our guests! 

With the grand finale fo Lumire's act. The entire audience was in complete awestruck. It wasn't long before applause roared the House of Mouse.

Backstage, Stardust has seen it all. And now it was ime for what he and Mickey have been waiting for. The very first guest toon interview.
