~' Chapter 12 '~

Link looks down at his knee, despite Sidon's best efforts the tissue of his leg had slowly started to break again. Not as severely, though, which is a relief. Link can't blame him, it was his first time ever using the powers and he managed to keep Link's leg healed up most of the way back to the castle. Link's gaze wanders from his injuried leg up to Sidon who was still holding him in his arms. Sidon's expression was as hard as a rock, trying not to let the underlaying fear in his eyes slip out in front of the dozen of guard standing in front of them with their weapons drawn. "Link!", Zelda's voice cuts through the tense silence and Link's ears perk at the familiar voice. The guards glance back at the princess and step out of her way as she walks up to the pair in front of her. "Link are you alright? I heard that you were injuried."Zelda asks, worry drenching her silky soft voice. Link only gives her a nod, refusing to utter a word while all the guards are staring at him. 

Link looks up at Sidon and taps his arm to get his attention. Sidon looks down at him and quickly caught on to what he wanted "You sure?" he asks and Link gives him a assured nod. Sidon carefully puts Link down on the snowy ground beneath. Link grunts as he lightly leans on his injuried leg but he remains as straight up as he can manage. "Let's go inside, Riju is waiting.. and I can patch up that wound." Zelda offers and Link nods with a smile to her offer. Zelda turns around and starts walking back towards the castle entrance with Link limping after. Sidon takes an unsure step forward but gets met by spears pushing closer in on him. Link looks back to see this and he gives out a cough to get Zelda's attention. Zelda glances back at them both and he quickly orders "Guards, let him pass. He's with Link afterall.". Despite her viibly struggling with the thought of letting an enemy within her castle walls she lets Sidon walk in with the rest of the little party. Link smiles at this, being proud of his friend trying to do what's best for the kingdom despite it going against her own morals. 

Link follows his friend through the familiar halls, getting a comforting feel from finally being somewhere he's comfortable with. Zelda opens the door to the library and quickly walks in, followed by Link and lastly Sidon. "Riju, we're here." Zelda says and the Gerudo chief's familiar face pops out from behind a bookshelf. "Heya! Long time no see, you two" Riju greets Link and Sidon with a cheerful smile. "Nice to see you too, Riju" Sidon smiles back at her. Zelda walks up to a table with chairs around it places in the middle amongst all the bookshelves. Riju quickly takes a seat in one of the chairs and Zelda walks over to Link. "This will just take a moment" she mumbles as she crouches down and lays her hands on Link's knee. Within a second or two the knee's healed and Zelda walks back and sits by Riju with a less tense expression. "Take a seat" Zelda gestures to the row of chairs in the other side of the table and the two boys quickly sit down. Link sinks into the aged velvet chair comfortaby while Sidon pushes the chair aside and sits on the floor as the old wooden legs would probably not hold his weight. They sit silent for a moment, and to the other's surprise Link's the one to break it. "Zelda, we saw something on our way here. Something.... Odd." He says and Zelda raises a brow at him. "Did you encounter one of the champions, maybe?" she suggests with a curious voice. Sidon nods silently as Link asks "How... How did you know?". Zelda quickly recaps what Riju had told her just before, leaving both Link and Sidon flabbergasted. 

Once Zelda finishes Sidon looks down at his hands. "So.. That's why she.. Gave them to me huh..?" He says softly to himself, his eyes softening from the tough facade he had put up their entire stay at Hyrule castle so far. "She.. Gave it to you?" Zelda asks, sounding  blown away by his statement. "Well yes, I'm her brother after all. I can prove it to you if you like." Sidon says confidently, leaving Zelda quiet and contemplating for a moment. After a little while she rolls up her sleeve and reaches her arm over the table "Prove it." she says sternly. Sidon uses his newly grown-out claws to make a slit in Zelda's arm as she hisses from the pain. Blood barely gets time to ooze out before Sidon hovers his hand over the cut, concentrating with all his might. An unsure glow starts flickering from his palm, slowly growing bigger and steadier until it engulfs Zelda's cut in it's magical glow. Zelda studies the magic with big eyes and once the glowing dies down and Sidon moves his hand the cut is gone, as if it was never there. Zelda simply stares in shock at her arm before managing to gather herself. 

"W-... Well then.. We got Urboasa's and Mipha's powers... Now all we need is Daruk of the Goron's and Revali of the Rito's." Zelda says as Link nods and looks out the window, seeing the sun still being high in the sky. "We... Still got time. The nearest one from here is the Rito's camp, am I right?" He asks and Riju nods. "Yeah, they live just beneath the mountain they used to have their camp in so it's not that far" She says with a smile. "If we hurry we could at the very least make it half way until sundown" She continues, earning a smile from Zelda. "Then what are we waiting for?" She says as she gets up from her chair with a determination Link haven't seen in her in a while. Did it come from Riju? Link surely hopes so, he've missed seeing his dear friend and princess that happy. Zelda opens the library doors, nearly knocking over the two guards standing by it. "Fetch three steeds, this instant!" She orders the guards and they run off to do just that. "That's my princess!" Riju calls out happily from the table as she hurries up to follow Zelda out into the halls, with Link and Sidon shortly after.

"Ganon better prepare" Sidon says with a grin.

"We are coming for him."
