Police.

Back in school two days later.

Jade stayed over at mine for the weekend as she was hungover and scared to go home.
The weekend was really boring and quiet for some reason.

Me and jade walked into school and saw 3 police officers talking to our principal.

Jade:"why're are the pigs here?" She asked me

Me:"I don't know"

Liam walked over to us and gave us a hug.

Me:"what's all the police here for"

Liam:"it's probably about Blake's party"

Before we could ask anything else the bell rang.

My first period was with everyone.
We was all copying from the board but we hear a knock on the door.

Principal jacks:"Layla Anderson could you come with me please"

My head lifted and I sat there in shock. I was very confused but this isn't the first time I'm being questioned so whatever.

I nod my head and the principal grabs my teacher to talk outside the classroom as I gather my things.

Everyone just turns around and looks at me.

Me:"what" I say and they all turn back around.

As I walk pass everyone Mattia grabs my hand.

"Be careful" he says softly with fear digged into his eyes.

Me:"yeah okay"

4 hours later

The police drove me to the station and waited until my mom got there but it took her literally forever.

When she finally arrived they took me and my mother into a room. A questioning room.

Cop1:"right sorry to bother you mrs Anderson but we just have a few questions for your daughter"

Mom:"firstly its miss Anderson and secondly let's make this quick because my boss is very impatient"

I've been taken out of school and questioned before so the cops don't phase me or my mom anymore.

Cop2:"right sorry, well Layla was you at Blake's party on Friday night"

Me:"maybe, I'm not too sure"

Cop2:"your unsure of your whereabouts?"

Me:"i guess"

Cop1:"ok well do you know where your brothers were on Friday"

Me:"no"

Cop2:"was they at the party with you"

Me:"I don't know, why don't you bring them in and ask them yourself"

Mom:"what's this exactly about"

Cop1:" A boy was shot at that party so we're just trying to figure out what happened"

Oh no

Me:"what boy"

My heart began beating faster and faster.

Cop2:" we cannot say it's disclosed information"

Alejandro wasn't in school  today. What if it's him. What if Lucas shot alejandro. Omg

Me:" okay well ,am I being arrested?"

They both nod

Me:"well can I leave"

They asked me a few more question but I didn't give them real answers then they finally let us go.

"Layla where do you think your going" my mom said as I walked off

Me:"mom I need to know if alejandro is the one shot"

Mom:"you can find out later right now your going HOME"

I sighed then got into the car with her.
She took me home.

"Look as worried as I am right now. None of you will leave this home until I get back from work. You hear me" my mom screamed at me and my brother.

We all nod and she leaves.

We was all slumped on the coach watching the simpsons.

"Oh Lucas what did you do this time" I said with no emotion on my face.

Thiago was sat there his his head in his hands looking all stressed.

"Dear sister, this wasn't me believe it or not I had nothing to do with this" Lucas said with a smirk.

Thiago slowly raises his head up and looked at me. He had tears dripping down his face and he looked so scared.

Thiago:"I think it was me"

Me and Lucas look at eachother then back at Thiago.

"WHAT" we both say in shock.

We then hear a knock at the door.
