Alyson's body felt tight every nerve tingled, every hair on its end. Something was wrong. She could feel it her body was so tightly coiled it was hard to breathe.

Then in a blink of an eye her body was sprinting through the trees, not a were speed but it was definitely Alyson's full sprint. She didn't know what she was running from, but she knew whatever it was, was going to kill her if she stopped.

She jumped over logs or what she thought were logs but upon further inspection were fallen bodies. She nearly screamed when she realized these were people. They were bad mangled she hoped it wasn't anyone she knew. If it were there wouldn't be a way, she'd be able to identify their bodies.

Her body struggled to push itself further and further, faster and faster.

Every muscle burned with effort.

Her adrenaline was through the roof.

She could feel her blood pounding.

Her breathe heaving.

She skidded to a stop at the edge of a cliff she peered down. It was a river filled with sloshy water. It was a good 100-foot drop.

She flipped to face the thing chasing her. She could hear it approach. Trees swayed as it moved closer towards her.

It crunched leaves, twigs, and sticks.

She didn't know what it was. As the monster stepped from the brush. She felt her body jolt up.

Her breathing heavy. Alyson pushed the matted hair off the slick forehead. She rested her head on the coolness of her hand, letting it cool the rest of her body.

She looked around it was almost sunset. Had she really been asleep for that long?

She looked around all the boys were still fast asleep, but she felt the prickle of eyes on her. She shuttered at the memory of her dream.

She was both equally relieved and mad that the dream had ended there. She really wanted to see this thing, but also glad she didn't see it all the same.

She glanced over to Mason who was sleeping steadily.

"Mason. It's almost night fall wake-up." Alyson said with authority in her voice. She did the same with all the boys. All of them waking up slowly, except Mason who never takes long to become a blazing ball of energy.

"Wow, we sure did sleep in, didn't we?" Mason asks.

"I could use a few more hours," Collins says stretching out his arms and twisting.

"Me too," Kaden said letting out a wide yawn himself.

"Well, we'll be going home after tonight. I'm sure you'll get plenty of rest then," Alyson said gathering up stuff that they wouldn't need, so packing up tomorrow wouldn't be so bad.

"Alright, boys eat up. We've got another night of hunting in the books for us today," Dustin said sounding very much like an older brother.

"Today's plan is to do the exact same thing as we did yesterday. Hopefully, we'll be able to get some more information on them, other than what we've gotten," Alyson said sitting back down as Kit and Koda yawned and stretched out by her. She gave both some gentle pets.

"I'm glad that's so well planned," Collins teases.

"Hey, you try planning a hunting event with you all," Alyson said trying to act like the eyes watching her didn't give her chills. The stares were cold. She didn't know exactly where they were coming from. It felt like way too many to pinpoint exactly.
