"COME ON! FASTER!" I yelled, encouraging my students with pushing hands.

"Ma'am," I cringed at the use of formalities but let him carry on, "When are we actually going to get into real fighting?"

"When your stamina levels have reached its peak point, hm." If they couldn't last a couple minutes in a fight what good would they ever do? I made them run laps upon laps and each time they finished one they would have to do a set of 7 burpees before moving on to the next lap.

Hydration played a significant part in my training so yes, I did allow them to have a 2 minute rest and water break every 20 minutes.

I'm not that mean.

There was no difference between how and what the two genders were taught within my group so each had to get by individually. They would see that the more they dedicated themselves, the easier the ride would be.

Undeniably, I had that small handful of whom already obtained that passion to derive their commitment and tenacity into pure power and strength, earlier on.

But there were still some who needed that little kick to the ass and I just knew their jump start button would turn on and their heads set on the game.

Victory is known to those who are willing to pay its price.

Nothing in life is fair, merely a survival of the strongest.

"KEEP YOUR ASSES MOVING!" I felt like one of those aggressive coaches you had in P.E, I think I'd fit in, no? "OI, KYLIE GET YOUR HIPPITY DOO BOTTOM OFF THAT BENCH AND BACK ON THE COURSE!" She rolled her eyes at me, huffing but complied anyways.

Teenage girls.

It was coming near to the end of the session so I gathered them up in front of me. "Luke, Freya, I want you to spar for me." I ushered them to the middle with my finger as the group moved back, giving them space.

"Whoever lands on their back first, loses."

Freya was a quiet girl but she had the speed. Whereas Luke was more or less the opposite, had the strength but lacked the speed. I wanted them to go against each other to see if they would learn from their opponent.

"Now this is based off of raw talent so I don't expect you to go hulk on me, you got that?" They both nodded their heads, then fixing their gazes on the other.

They positioned themselves into a basic stance of bent knees, alternate footing and fists up and ready. Luke charged at Freya, making the first move. He threw a punch at her face to which Freya ducked under and used her advantage to attack his stomach.

He stumbled back taking into accord what she just did. Yet, he still did the same thing and lunged for her, it was back and forth thing.

"Miss, I forfeit." Luke panted in oppose to Freya's stable body.

"There is no such thing as forfeit, Luke. It's win or lose."

"She's too fast!" He complained.

"You are here to learn. Just out of curiosity, have either of you figured out why I paired you both to fight?"

"No." They said in unison.

"Freya, you excel in speed and same goes to you Luke with strength. I want you to take each other's moves into account and compromise. What can I do next? What move will they pull out after? If I throw this punch, will they attack with this?"

I inhaled, "Quick judgement, you cannot afford to be sloppy both physically and mentally in battle; you let your guard down for a second, and you're a goner."

"Luke, you have a basic pattern of similar moves meaning your opponent will grow used to it easily. Freya, your attacks are weak, you lack muscle and power."

"Now, homework, I want you both to work together and learn each other's natural techniques and incorporate them when fighting."

"As for the rest of you, I have also created your pairings."

...

"Just as an ending comment, guys, if you do have ambitions to become a true warrior, competition does not scare you, it guides you. Now, you are free to leave."

"Pancakes!"

"Waffles!"

"Pancakes!!"

"Waffles!!"

"Panc-"

"Croissants, now shut the fuck up."

Lynn and Luca's bickering had come to an end after Leo slammed his fork on the table creating a dent. I winced and placed my hand on his arm. He seemed a little stressed out lately but I didn't know whether or not to ask about him about it.

"Leo, have you been feeling alright these past few days?" I laid my chin on his shoulder.

"Ok."

"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Oh, I'm fine." He walked out.
