—Now that we've discussed about your album and the creative process, shall we get more personal? -the guy talks in a way that irritates me- I mean, during this quarantine we've noticed you've taken a break from media and fans want to know what's going on in your lives.

I know already what's coming up.

—I personally haven't done much -Ashton speaks first- I've even gotten to this point where I can't come up with any ideas of what to do at home.

—Quarantine has affected so many people, specially those who were used to have a busy life. I reckon you're one of them, right? -the interviewer asks-

—I mean... Yeah. I was always out somewhere, if it hadn't anything to do with the band, then I'd find myself telling me to go buy a plant or something -Ashton funnily answer-

—What about you, Michael? Sources told us you were going to get married this year!

—Man, that's been so messed up. When my fiancé and I finally agreed on a date and had the whole thing almost planned, this happened -Mike's energy is the same as usual, funny and kind man-

—So know you're busy rescheduling everything?

—You could say so, after that we agreed on marrying around January 2021 but I don't think this is going to end anytime soon, mate -he giggles- so everything's kinda fucked up for the moment.

—We're so sad to hear that. I hope I get to be a VIP guest on that wedding! -the man jokes-

—Wait, are you guys getting invited? -Luke's poker face make us crack a laugh- just kidding -he smiles-

—Oh, come on! You must be the best man.

—Oh, no. Let's not go there, please -Michael shakes his head funnily and I can't help but put on my biggest victory smile-

—That's an open wound right there -Luke pouts- this man tossed away our years of friendship!

—I knew this day would come, it's definitely time for me to suffer -Michael jokingly says- I-uh, my best man is Calum and I've already explained this a millionth times, but I'm gonna say it again: I've known Calum for longer.

—Just admit I'm your best friend and go -I joke-

—So, you get to be the best man, huh? -the interviewer gets my attention-

—Yeah -I say with a half smile-

—Seems about fair. Maybe Michael can also be your best man if you ever get married... Or he could also walk your bride down the aisle because as far as we know, the father isn't walking her.

As soon as I heard those words, the smile I had on my face faded away. I really should just keep it cool and not say anything that could make this worse.

—As far as I know, it's none of your business -I tried but couldn't hold it in, there was no possible way for me to answer kindly-

—Geez, man, take it easy. We all can ser you're clearly in love, you're ready to put up a fight anytime now -he laughs-

I close my hands in fists and look at my bandmates' faces, all of them expressionless. Ever since we were teenagers people told us media would try and get the worse out of us – so we were taught how to fight it. And I get that it's his job, I really do, but I just can't with the fact that people like him actually exist.

—Look, man, I'm not up in nobody's business so it's best if we don't go there. Either way, my girlfriend's problems are none of your concern, so let's avoid it.
