~Aurora's Pov~

It's been a few days, Dad's been off.. That's the only word that came to mind. He wasn't himself. Maggie told Carl and I it was just his own way of grieving mom. Things were weird without Daryl or my dad being here taking charge of things. When my dad wasn't doing well, Daryl was the one who took over.. He was my dad's right hand. But since he wasn't with us anymore, Glenn was the one in charge for now until my dad got better, but I've noticed that Glenn was so angry all the time. I don't know what exactly happened at Woodbury but it affected him and Maggie.

It felt like our group was slowly unraveling without having a solid leader.

"You knew Merle, right?" Beth asked as she fed Judith a bottle. I nodded, "Yeah, I never talked to him though, I didn't even talk to Daryl until we got to your farm. He was a dick though." I said thinking back on the times I've seen Daryl and Merle act out when they first got to our camp back in Atlanta, "Who? Daryl or Merle?" She asked, "Merle, Well Daryl was too but not as much as Merle was. Daryl changed." I said, she looked down at Judith, "From what I've been hearing about Merle, I don't understand why he had to leave.. We're weak without him." She said looking at me. I nodded a bit as I looked at her too.

"Yeah, I know.. I miss him. I never thought I'd say it but I miss him." I said getting up from the floor, I finished fixing the little "Crib" for Judith and pushed it against the wall. "You've been with him since Atlanta. Of course you miss him.. I'm not sure what to feel. But right now, I'm pissed." She said. I looked at her again, "I'm pissed at him for leaving us." She repeated. I nodded a bit as I dusted myself off. "As you should be." I said and sat down next to her. "I hope he realizes how much he needs us as much as we need him and he comes back.." I said softly. "Me too. He's part of our family. We need each other." She said.

"Hey." We looked over to see Oliver standing at the door to my cell. "Hey," I said. "Can one of you or both of you talk to Maggie? I've been trying to get her to tell me what happened but she won't talk to me. Figured if y'all talked to her it would come out easier. I'm worried." He said. We nodded a bit, "I'll try," Beth said and looked over to me. "If I can't get anything out of her I'll tell you. Maybe you'll get something." She said. I shook my head, "She'll talk to you, you're her sister. But yeah tell me if she doesn't talk to you." I said. She nodded, "Okay, I'm gonna go make my daddy something to eat." She said and handed me Judith and left the cell.

Oliver walked in and sat down next to me, He looked at Judith in my arms and I smiled softly at him. He looked at me and smiled, making me smile more. "What?" He asked. "Nothing.." I said softly, He looked away from me and shook his head slightly. "Crazy to think we were all this tiny once." He said as I continued to feed Judith her bottle. It was silent for about a minute, but it wasn't awkward. It was a comfortable silence.

"How are you doing?" He asked, breaking the silence. I sighed a bit through my nose and shrugged. "Fine.. I miss her though. I don't even remember what the last thing I said to her was.. It's weird not hearing her voice or seeing her around anymore." I said looking at him. He nodded a bit. "Yeah.. that's the hardest part." He said and looked back down at Judith. "It'll get better, easier. You'll be alright." He said and looked at me again, I looked at him too. "I'm real sorry about your mom 'rora.." He said. "Thanks Olly." I responded softly.

We were all outside right now except for Maggie, she was inside with Judith.

I shook my head as I watched dad walk away from Hershel. Dad was on the outside of the prison and he has been for a while. Hershel was trying to convince him to come back inside, we needed him but he just didn't want to come back. "He's not coming in.." I said to myself as he continued walking away from the fence. "He will.. He just needs time. Just like you needed time.." He said. I looked over at Oliver. He looked at me too, "Others just take longer to come back but they will eventually." He said.

Suddenly, a gunshot went off and we saw Axel was shot down. Oliver grabbed my hand quickly and we ran, taking cover as more gunshots went off. I pulled out my gun and so did he. "Carl! Cmon!" I called out watching him and Beth take cover behind some bleachers. They ran over to us quickly. "You alright?!" Oliver asked, putting his hands on Beth's arms. She nodded, "Yeah." She said as we took cover behind a wall. I looked at Carl and he looked at me too, giving me a nod. I nodded too, "Alright." I said as the gunshots kept going.

"Beth!" We looked over to see Maggie running out with a couple of guns. She handed one to Oliver and Beth and took cover. "Carol go!" Maggie called out and covered Beth as she ran to us for cover. We started hearing something humming, It grew louder and louder. As it got closer we realized it was a truck. It broke down the fences and parked right in the middle of the field.

A ramp dropped and walkers started coming out, "Olly daddy's out there!" Bath said worried. "I know!." He said frustrated and got cut off by more gunfire. "We'll get him." He said.
