catching up

Michael sighed as he led his family over to pirate cove.

He never expected to be having this conversation at all...at least...not for a long while......

He opend he curtain of the small stage and let his family enter.

"M-Mike?" Asked chris as he stepped up on the platform of the stage.

Michael looked down at his little brother and smiled gently.

"Yes chris?" Michael asked while closing the curtain.

Chris looked down at his feet and sighed...

"D-did you...h-hate me..?" Chris asks while looking back up at his brother with tears in his eyes...

Michael felt regret wash over him...did he really think he hated him...

Michael sighed and sat down on the floor of his cove. He motioned his family to do the same.

Once they all were sat down Michael sighed again.

"Chris...no...I promise I did not hate you..." michael said while looking down in his lap...

Chris smiled lightly. But it soon fell as another question came to mind...

"W-why did you bully me..?" Chris asked softly...

Michael felt fear rise up in him....

"W-well..." Michael stuttered...

William looked at michael with confusion and sadness on his face...

He knew why Michael bullied chris...he had figured it out a while after he went missing...and it was his and Clara's fault....

"M-mike....tell them..." william said with a serious voice....

Michael looked up at his father with shock and sorrow...

He was confused....why would his dad want his kids knowing he was abusive...

Michael sighed knowing that he wouldn't get past this...

"Well...back then...I was never given the amount of attention you two got...mom never liked me...and dad....he was always busy...mom was verbally abusive to me and dad was neglecting of me.... I guess...I was jealous....when you two were born....mom got worse...and dad never payed any attention to me...." Michael said with sadness in his voice...it hurt to remember....

Mile looked up and saw chris...

Chris was mad...he knew about mom partly...but even his dad!?...

Chris looked over at william who's face was written with regret...

"W-why would you let her do that!?..." chris yells at his father with rage clear in his voice....

William sighs and looks at chris...

"I-i....I dont know...." william says while looking down in shame...

Chris shoots his father a glare and sighs...

Lizzy...she just sat there...

"Michael...?" William asks his son quietly...

Michael looks up.

"Yes dad?.." michael asks him.

William sighed and felt his gut turn...

"D-did you c-cut..?" He asks his son whith a shaky voice...

Michael was taken aback...how had he found out!?

Chris was scared kn what his response would be...

Lizzy looked scared...

"Yes...."

Little did they know someone was listening from outside the curtains....
