HAUNTING DEMEANOR

CHAPTER 13

"Taehyun-ah!"

Taehyun went out of his submissive thoughts and faced Beomgyu.
"Are you nervous or something?"
"Who? Me? Why would I?"

Beomgyu chuckled upon observing Taehyun is really out of the blue.
"You're squeezing my soft penguin keychain and I keep on calling you but you never answered."
"Oh. I'm sorry, I'm blank headed. Are you feeling better now? You're full of thorns and those aren't just allergies. What happened to you?"
"I fell from the window into a garden full of cacti that's why."
"You should be more careful next time"

"TAEHYUN!"
Soobin seemed to appear out of nowhere.
"Soobin, are you alright?", asked Taehyun.
"Sorry, have I interrupted you?"
"No. Feel free to have a conversation with Taehyun."

Beomgyu answered and turned himself on the other side of his bed, making Soobin feel he isn't interested about the topic.
"What is it Soobin?", Taehyun asked.
"Do you know Hueningkai has a brother?"

Beomgyu's eyes widened upon hearing Soobin's question. Taehyun, who seemed so nervous about anything pressed Beomgyu's key chain before he answered.

"I do know about that."
Beomgyu then faced the both of them again.
"Who is he? Do you know him?", Soobin asked again.

Beomgyu is just listening, waiting for Taehyun to respond and dropped the name of Hueningkai's brother.
"I don't know who he is."

Beomgyu held Taehyun's hand for he seemed so nervous with talking to Soobin.
"You don't really know or you just don't want to tell me?"
"Soobin, I really don't know."
"Just tell me who he is, he's bothering Yeonjun hyung and it should stop. Yeonjun hyung suffered enough."

Taehyun seemed like a statue  frozen and he can't even answer. Beomgyu, who seemed so concerned to him, carefully sat down and faced Soobin.
"He already said he knows nothing. Just leave now."
"You don't know about what we're talking..."
"But he already answered. Get out now or I'll...", Soobin cut his words.
"FINE!"

Soobin banged the door as he went outside. Taehyun, who got out balanced, was assisted by Beomgyu.

"You seemed so stiffed, are you alright?"

Beomgyu asked Taehyun who's now having a teary eye.
"I'm alright. Thanks."
"Why is he asking you about Hueningkai? Are you Hueningkai's best friend?"
"I used to have a pretty close connection with him."
"Soobin's asking for brother. I was scared he already remembered me."
"What? I don't get you."
"Oh! Nothing. Your phone's ringing."

Beomgyu handed Taehyun's phone and Taehyun immediately answered the call.

"If you will excuse me.", Taehyun said
"Sure sure."

Beomgyu released of a deep sigh after Taehyun went out.
"This isn't the right time to tell him."

He said and went back to bed, closed his eyes for him to sleep.
