"I know good and well you ain't sleepin'" I heard momma talk smack
"No, I'm floatin' on poop and buttcracks- yes ma, I'm awake" I smirked
"Good, get up! Like, how you come upstairs and lay on your bed? You didn't even eat lunch-"
"I ate for 4 hours, whatchu mean?" I raised an eyebrow
"Huh?"
"I ate for 4 hours... When you were gone? I was eating for 4 hours" I said as if she was slow
"I-I'm not understanding, mijo" She scratched her head.
I slapped my face.
"Okay- y'know what forget it. I was eating the pus-"
"Mom" Ginella came into my room crying
"Yes sweetie?"
Ginella stared at me.
"Leave, Laithan" Momma told me
"Hold the fuck up, this is my room. Not yours" I snapped
"Who the fuck you think you talkin' to?" Momma gave me a wide eyed face "You better go sit 'cho lil ass down and go drink some water"
"Ma-"
"I pay the bills. I provide fo' yo' greedy tail! Oh mierda no está mejor. Esta es mi casa, yo digo lo que quiero. Hago lo que quiero y lo que quiero es por su maldito trasero a patear rocas!"
I slapped my hand against my face and walked out the room. Momma slammed the door after me and I heard Ginella's sobs grow louder and louder by the minute.

Ginella came downstairs into the kitchen where I was, wiping her eyes. She grabbed a big popcorn bowl and started putting big scoops of Arroz con Pollo (Chicken with Rice) in the bowl. I stopped her.
"Gimmie the fuckin' spoon" She snarled
I put the spoon back down, putting my hands up in surrender. She started piling the food into her round dish, making it go over half of the container.
"Okay, Nells, that's enough" I told her
"Aye, lemme be fat for once, okay? I wanna eat"
"You never eat though" I said suspiciously
"So?" She mumbled, splatting a spoonful of the food into the bowl, making some of it splatter on me
"Okay, what's up?" I asked her, sitting at the kitchen table
"Nothin'"
"Lies"
"Ok"
"Just tell me, I won't laugh"
I started laughing.
"I'm joking, see, look.. I'm serious" I put a playful face on, poking my lips out as I looked slightly at the ground
"Whatever, Laithan" She rolled her eyes, adding more food
"You're taking it all- which is rare for you. Did you go through a break up?" I asked
"Yes"
"With Ivy?" I gasped
"Yeah"
"No!" My jaw dropped "But she was so nice and sweet-"
